Anyone can get a license if they pass that stupid exam - you don't even have to speak English to take the exam. Wth?
People don't use their indicators/blinkers/turn signals. Do you think Toyota, Kia, uhm uhm uhm, Chevy & them took the time to add that extra light bulb with flickering action and that knob at the front of your wheel for nothing? I'm not satan - you can tell me your plans & I won't screw them up. Let somebody know when you plan on changing lanes. Wth?
People who cut you off & then drive terribly slow - why? Why'd you go through all the trouble of racing down the street to get in front of me & do 20 mph less that what you were doing originally? Wth? You're an idiot and the police should ticket you.
People who text while driving. No, you are not a better driver than all the other people who text and drive and swerve out of their lanes or sit on the green light for minutes on end. Unfortunately, when you're driving all you can do is drive. You cannot text. You cannot read messages. You cannot send your mom, dad, significant other, teacher, supervisor, cousin, auntie, uncle, grandma/grandpa, etc. a text message. Your driving will suffer - trust me, I know - I've gotten in front of you on the road because you were not paying attention
People who wait until the LAST minute to change lanes so that they can get on their exit. You knew you were taking exit 18A or whatever it is. The state did not just put that exit there last night - it's been there. Be proactive when you drive. Wth? Don't slam on your brakes in front of me or attempt to cut me off because YOUR exit is coming up and YOU did not have the common sense to get your vehicle in the proper lane before it was too late. Wth?
People with blue tinted windows. Why? Wth?
Back to blinkers/indicators/turn signals - yes, I'm still there - you did a good job, you indicated that you were moving from the left lane to the right lane and made a safe lane change. HOWEVER, that was 2 miles ago. Why do people leave their turn signals on for miles and miles. Is your music so loud that you cannot hear that irritating "click click click click click" the turn signal makes? Wth?
People who drive slowly in the fast lane. I don't know about your state, but in the state of Maryland the left lane is the fast lane. I've been to quite a few states and each state I've ever been to had a designated "fast" lane, that lane was usually the left lane. This is common knowledge because it is a rule. When I took MY driving test, it was even in the little study book. So why do people sit in the left lane doing a whopping 45 or 50 miles per hour? At the very least, when you see a vehicle coming behind you, through your rearview mirror (which I'm certain most people don't use), move into another lane. Wth?
People eating in their car. You may be able to snack on French fries or a banana, but there is absolutely no reason for you to be eating a cheeseburger or a meal that requires eating utensils. C'mon - you canNOT be that hungry. Wth
Though extensive, the list is not exhausted. There are many many reasons why I do not like driving. Driving is a privilege & people act bullish on the roads. It's ridiculous. It's one thing to be a speeder. It's something completely different to be reckless, negligent or completely uncourteous in your driving patterns. Seriously.
