Day 178: Human Potential Part 2

"The main goal of the Human Movement Potential is to teach you that you, and anyone else that so desires, can develop your own potential so that you can live the life that you want to live, and you can do this while being happy and fulfilled at the same time."  http://www.pathacross.com/human-potential-movement/

How can 'anyone that so desires', develop their full potential and live the life they want to live, when there are those in this world that have no money, and no access to support, with the physical pain of starvation causing you to lay on the ground all day because you don't have enough energy to walk? How can 'anyone that so desires' develop their full potential and live the life they want to live, when you are so poor that your wants consist of simple things like getting food for the day, and finding a safe place to sleep? How about a child wanting to escape from sex slavery? How can a person have any idea what their potential might be and what they might find fulfilling in terms of self expression and skills, when they are from bad luck of their birth, sold into slavery at age 5 where they are then trained as a sex slave, and all they every know life as, is pain, discomfort, and fear of being harmed or killed if they were to try and escape, and where they become addicted to dangerous drugs just to experience a moment of nothingness? How can 'anyone that so desires' develop their full potential and live the life they want to life, when they are for example born into a gang environment where they are trained by the parents and others in their environment to become involved in drug trafficking and murder, and where if they tried to leave the gang, they would be killed? For those of us with access to all our basic needs, education, medical care, internet, free time, a secure and clean living environment - those of us able to make enough money to live comfortably -- are we living up to our fullest Human Potential, in focusing only on how we can improve our own lives and make our own desires come true? Are we living up to our fullest Human Potential in focusing only on the nice things in the world, and ignoring the atrocities that take place daily? Are we living up to our fullest Human Potential in trusting in an assumption that by just being happy, the world will somehow, eventually, change? Are we living up to our fullest Human Potential in claiming that we're not responsible for others, and then expecting that others will take responsibility to produce the things we need to fulfill our own desired lifestyle? Are we living up to our fullest Human Potential in daily following our excitement and desires, buying what makes us happy, eating what makes us happy, living a lifestyle that makes us happy - while allowing the Earth's finite resources to be depleted, sabotaging life on earth for future generations? Are we living up to our fullest Human Potential in claiming our only responsibility is to make ourselves happy, when there are people who are happy murdering, raping, molesting, and abusing others? Isn't Human Potential the Potential to use our Free Choice to make the Decision to expand our definition of Self to include All Life, and dedicate ourselves to ensuring all Life on earth is supported and cared for, and to not just 'sit back and relax' as millions die unnecessary deaths every year? To live up to our Fullest Human Potential, shouldn't we understand how everything of this reality functions, so we can see how to prevent consequence in all areas of reality? To live up to our Fullest Human Potential, shouldn't we understand where our thoughts come from, where our feelings and emotions come from? To live up to our Fullest Human Potential, shouldn't we be able to act in ways that ensure all life is supported and consequence is prevented, regardless of how we feel or what thought occupies the mind? To live up to our Fullest Human Potential, shouldn't we be able to stand before every other human, animal, insect, plant on Earth and say 'I'm doing everything I can, to the absolute of my capacity, to bring about a world that is best for all, in honor, respect, and value of Life, and will never stop until all life on earth is free form poverty and abuse? To live up to our Fullest Human Potential, shouldn't we remove any value / opinion / belief / assumption / thought that justifies any form of suffering for any being? To Live up to our Fullest Human Potential, shouldn't we give everyone the ability to live without fear for survival? There's enough money, manpower, technical know-how, and time to provide everyone with a comfortable life. That should be the first, most basic step we put in place before considering where we can go in our Potential as Humans. After all, are we interested in our Potential for Self Interest? Day 99: Programming Children as the I of Survival

Today when I was out on the street, a mother and her two young children walked by, probably both between 7 and 10 years old, and they were talking to each other saying: "I want to die when I'm like 70" and the other one saying: "no I want to die when I'm like 80". Don't you find this strange? Two children, only having been on this planet for a few years, already planning their preferred age of death, talking about it the same way they would be talking about different flavors of ice cream they like. And I mean, where did this conversation come from? Is this really two new beings talking to each other as actual beings, part of the Earth, expressions of Life? Or are these children cloned versions of the parents and teachers, already accepting the definition of life as being a 'span of time that ends around 70 or 80'? Are these children speaking as the I of Life, or the I of Survival? When you look at the movies, television, advertisements within this world, 'a life' is clearly defined as a process of going to school, getting a degree, getting a job, working for 30 or 40 years, retiring, and then dying. And this 'life' takes place within the context of a World that is defined by the current money system - within which actual Life - the actual Life Force that is Equal in everyone, human, animal, plant, is not considered within the definition of Self -- Self is presented as an individual only, with its individual body, its individual needs, its individual wants and desires. And what will these children learn as they get older? They'll learn by the example set by their parents and teachers and society, movies and television and advertisements, that there's 'no time' to consider anything else but their own life and survival and wants and needs, and they will try to get in as much 'living' as possible within the span of time before their death at age 70 or 80. But will these children ever really live? Have their parents ever really lived? How can you live as Life, as  Living Being - when you are programmed to define 'life' as a span of time in which you earn money to survive, and never consider Yourself as the Life force within All that is Here? How can these children, who are supposed to be 'Our Future', the future of Earth - take responsibility for this world, to end the destruction and abuse in this world, if they are programmed to define Living as a process of participating in the money system within the consideration of only their 'own life' until death at age 70 or 80? How can the children of this world take responsibility for this world if they are programmed by movies, television, advertisements, a society that allows destruction and abuse to go on? I mean, the society that these children were born into is not standing as an example of taking responsibility for this world, but is only standing as an example of defining yourself, your 'I' - as a limited experience ending in 70 or 80 years. How can these children ever take Responsibility for Life, if they are not standing Here As Life, considering themselves, their 'I' - as the I of Life that is Equal in All beings? The 'I' of Life that is born into this world generation after generation? How can these children ever ensure a world that is Best for All Life, if they are programmed to see themselves only as the 'I' of Surv-I-val? I mean within the word Survival we can see the accepted Value System of the World / Society that is teaching / programming these children: Survival Serve-I-Val -- wherein, Value is that which Serves My (I) own survival, until age 70 or 80. So in my next post I will walk the re-definition of the word Survival, to transform it from the consideration / definition of Life as 'only my 'I' / my survival', to the 'I' of Life - within the consideration of not just Survival of the I as the individual within a limited span of time of 70 to 80 years, but the I of Life that enters this world with each new human, animal, and plant.
