Yesterday's @clovermarket in Bryn Mawr was such an amazing experience. Craft shows are so fun not only because I get to meet oodles of new people, but, because of the craft, people share stories upon stories of their mothers and grandmothers and how she used to create these crazy hats, or she handmade all of my figure skating costumes growing up, or crafted these elaborate fabric paintings just for fun. It's a gift to hear all of those stories and to have inspired their retelling by my own craft. One man even said he hadn't thought of his mother's crafts for years and years, only to remember them by seeing the @ernieandirene crocheted pieces. This Lion, though, really stole the show. He was sold almost first thing in the morning to @bowerbirdgarden, but I think 20 more people wanted him.
