What does Lilith look like in your rewrite?

actually, prior to getting this ask i’d never rlly given it much thought, but this actually made me dwell on her design some

I wanted to keep her way more humanoid than any other sinner in the show, and I wanted to keep some of her traits from paintings of her like her hair and stuffs

I included some maybe-not-so-inconspicuous Faith:The Unholy Trinity inspo with her face, and I wanted it to kinda be a gaping void to add to her mistique, as well as maybe a place where she pulled out baby demons Gary Miller style? Not to sure about that atm

If i am actually going with the Faith-style portal face, i’d make her “birth” the seven deadly sins out of her face, while Charlie is the only being that was birthed naturally by her

Charlie basically got all of her physical traits from her dad, although i did have Charlie inherit the same horns and tail as her mom

OH THE HORNS! When i was researching for her design, I saw a bunch of articles mentioning a crescent moon as a kinda symbol of Lilith, so I made her horns in that kinda shape, I was gonna give her traits of other symbols that I saw of her (owls and serpents) but I decided against it cuz it didn’t quite fit with the vision i was going for with her

As for her body and why it’s all dark and all, I wanted it to just kinda look like a buildup of brimstone and ash on her body from all her time in hell, and it just eventually staining her body black. I also wanted to make her more curvier, cuz she is supposed to be “motherly” and that didn’t quite fit with her stick-and-bones lookin the show

Someone mentioned it before about Lucifer, and how him basically being naked made him seem more godlike among the other characters, and so I thought that would fit well with Lilith as well, since she’s special in the sense that she’s 1. The first human sinner and 2. The only sinner able to reproduce

It took Greg a while but he finally found some PJs in his size to match yours! He's brought you some coffee and Bob has brought a basket of strawberries and blueberries (though a few did fall out on the way). Hopefully a nice treat will help the torment nexus not feel so torment-y and nexus-y

- Okay, I just watched Halloween, so bear with me

- I feel like he'd like having a s/o like that tbh

- Definitely stalks them, enjoys just watching how they do things

- Appreciates the innocence that you exude

- Super controlling

- Anytime you're 'away' from him, he's actually not too far behind, watching silently to make sure you don't get hurt

- In trials, he tries to go a little easier on you, but you can't really notice it

- Pats your cheek when he hooks you

- Overall, appreciative and a tad clingy

Anna

- Motherly mode activated

- Treats you like her little toy

- Dresses you, helps you with everything

- Goes super easy on you during trials

- It pains her when she has to hurt you

- She acts kinda like a bodyguard? Like she's always there, making sure you're okay

- Love love loves how adorable you are

- Your big eyes, your style, everything about you

- Overall, maternal and caring

Hello! I wanted to ask if there was a reason why your Lucifer frowns all the time? Is it depression? Something else?

Hi!

Ok so im gonna assume you meant my Al redesign instead of luci lol

I thought it would be a good juxtaposition to his smiley self as a human as well as his whole thing about having others smile

Also, in the redesign universe i have going on, i wanted to make the sinner forms mock the sinners a bit, kinda tying into eternal punishment and allat, so while pushing this whole smiling narrative, Al would never be able to smile on his own, adding more mystery and stuff

I also thought it would be a good way of making his face look more like an antique radio lol

I also thought his face would look creepier that way, cuz i just find an unchanging, everpresent frown way more unsettling than an overused sharp-toothed smile

Its also just a cool way for me to try drawing his expressions with just his eye and body language

HOW WOULD AN ALASTOR/LUCIFER INTERACTION GO IN YOUR REWRITE/REDESIGNS?? Would Alastor still act the same way, would your Lucifer let Alastor get away with it if he tried to act like Charlie’s dad that stepped up?

OKAY LETS GO! so, i made some changes to those two in the rewrite, mostly regarding luci being an ACTUAL scary threat cuz he is. Yknow. The guy who made hell and all (and im keeping the story of him trying to overthrow God and not the badly written sob story that was done in the show cuz that completely wastes his potential as The Devil From The Bible)

Another thing im writing for Al is that he actually sold his soul to luci in order to eventually shed his “filthy mortal flesh” and become something akin to a hellborn demon, cuz i think that would be cool as fuck to divulge on writing-wise

so to sum it up, no he would definitely not act the same around lucifer lol, but he would still try to manipulate charlie in order to find a “backdoor” to his deal (like what he said in that one song)

I feel like my luci would just like. Smite al if he caught him doing what he did in the show tho lol

Sorry this is my last question I'm just so invested in your au. What's Charlie's relationship like with her parents? Do they play a more antagonistic role in your story?

Hi sorry for the really late answer lmao 😭

Regarding Charlie’s parents, they quite literally disappeared off of the face of the earth (or moee accurately the face of hell) basically right after she was born (roughly 1 AD).

This caused chaos within hell and heaven because no one knew the reason why Lucifer disappeared or what was going to happen afterwards.

Long story short: she has basically no relationship with her parents. She has a rough idea of what Lilith looks like based on depictions of her in art and stuff, but she is unaware of what Lucifer looks like. (He also appears in her dreams, but she doesn’t know that it’s her father)

Later in the story, I want Lucifer to just. Show up in the hotel, and Charlie does recognize him as the man from her dreams, but realizes all too late that he is The Devil From The Bible aka her dad

As for being antagonistic, Lilith actually doesnt show up in the story at all and haunts the narrative (I wont specify why, since I kinda wanna keep it a mystery), but Lucifer DEFINITELY will be a major antagonist in the latter parts of the story. Hes THE devil after all, as well as the personification of Pride. He meant for Charlie to be an antichrist and to carry out his reign, but when he sees that she’s done quite literally the opposite, well… thats a different story

It feels good to write all of this down, since i do a majority of the worldbuilding and plot stuff in my head 😭
