So redraws of Vox are a bit of a challenge since I changed his body type so much. Some of the poses he pulls in the show need some slight adjustments to work in the right way. But I won't be deterred.

The first one of Alastor was done without a reference. Next time, I'll share a similar one that I used a screenshot reference for.

I get that the idea behind his full demon form was that he's like a virus. But the design didn't quite work for me. And I had to figure out how to make it work with my redesign for Vox, so... I tried to get something along the same thematic vein. I went through a couple iterations, and I'm not sure if I'm fully satisfied, but it's closer.

Deer Ticks

Deer are typically covered in ticks. Deer ticks aka Black-Legged Ticks are the most notorious for it. So I thought it would be hilarious if Niffty liked to pick through Alastor's hair(which I headcanon is more like fur rather than human hair) for ticks, while everyone else is amazed he lets her. Seems like her brand of crazy. She says they taste like juicy pennies.

This is inspired by the frustrations I had with "sheep keds" aka "sheep ticks" on my sheep. Took me forever to figure out what they were. They're actually a type of wingless fly, but they act a lot like ticks. I was picking through their wool to pull the things off for a long time before we got them sheared and could properly treat them.
