Do you have any goyuu fic recs (other than your own works of course!)

I'll start with my bookmarks filtered to recs only since that's already compiled. these are some of my personal favorites; a few are entirely for kink-related purposes, but many of them are just really good reads. (do note that if you are very particular about top/bottom, there may be a couple in there that feature bottom!gojo.) from this list, I'd like to specifically highlight:

Yuutas mind should absolutely remember things from his time in Gojo’s body that he now does without thinking. He ruffles Yuuji’s hair all the time now, every time he does anything yuuta even remotely approves of. When he crooks a smile at him, his head tilts at the exact same angle. The way he says Yuujis name had changed- now he speaks it in a wrenchingly familiar sing-song cadence. He seeks Yuuji out after missions, his feet carrying him around campus on instinct as he hunts for a dear head of pink hair.

Yuujis both repulsed and enamored. The ghost of the love he never got to know is living in yuutas body and he hates it because those habits belong to sensei, but also it’s the only thing he has left of him, and Yuuji has always craved positive attention and reinforcement so desperately. Yuuta is more understated about it, but it’s still just as overwhelming as when Gojo sensei used to pull him up after a spar, hook an arm around his shoulder, and tell him he was doing well and making great progress, his soft, gleaming lips too close.

I really like the idea of yuuta's mind getting a little muddled bc he absolutely winged the hell out of kenjaku's technique. the body is the soul, and the soul the body. through kenjaku's technique, yuuta had gojo's mind (his memories) and lived through his body; of course he would take on gojo's soul as well.

😩 I desperately wish I could withstand angst enough to finish that one wip I had. the best I can do is some bodyswap smut (wip) instead, I guess

yes, please enjoy this snippet from a post-ch. 261 au in which yuuta gets stuck in gojo's body, loses his mind a little bit as he tries not to lose his sense of self, and eventually convinces himself that having grief sex with yuuji using his former lover's body is his penance for taking it (essentially a longer, angstier version of this threadfic)

In the aftermath, Yuuta stands alone in the body of Gojo Satoru, and he doesn't die.

He doesn't die, and he can't switch back. He's stuck in a body that isn't his, has an extra twenty-nine years of memories that aren't his, and it is with an abrupt, gut-wrenching feeling that he realizes—

He is all that remains of Gojo Satoru in this world.

In the aftermath, Yuuta is nothing short of exhausted, physically and emotionally, and so he gives in. He gives in, and he lets his body run on autopilot, and he finds himself standing in front of Itadori Yuuji, who looks at him with something hopeful and haunted and heart-breakingly hollow in his eyes.

"Gojo-sensei…" Itadori-kun's gaze flicks up, traces along the seam of stitches on Yuuta's forehead, and sinks back down with a disappointment that dulls him into a tired husk. "You're not him, are you?"

His breath sags out, heavy. It feels as if his lungs—not his lungs, whispers a chiding voice in his mind—will never fill properly with air again.

"I'm not," he says, and when Itadori-kun's face starts to twist and crumple, his hand reaches out on its own.

Yuuji flinches away, and the sharp pain that lances through his heart—not his heart—startles Yuuta like he's been doused with a bucket of ice water.

"Sorry," Itadori-kun gasps, stumbling backwards. "I'm sorry, but I can't—"

The pain seeps out to spread through his chest, wrapping tight around the tender flesh inside his ribcage, and Yuuta drops his hand. And then, there in the wake of the hurt, in the echoes of another soul, he feels…

… satisfaction?

Sensei, Yuuta thinks, numb, as he stands there and watches Itadori-kun turn and flee. What the hell was that?

yesss the okkogo wip!!! well, I say it's okkogo, but since this is me, there's very prevalent background one-sided goyuu/yuugo as well. also, it's actually two separate wips in one document, one about the first time gojo propositions yuuta for sex and one months later where gojo's still coming around for dick & yuuta's just about run out of patience. I want to believe I'll finish the second one at some point and post it to ao3, but I know I won't finish the first, so you get the entirety of it:

"Yuuta?" "Yeah?" Yuuta looks up from where he's picking through the remainder of the dishes they'd ordered. Gojo-sensei hasn't moved from where he's slumped forlornly onto the table—from where he's been moping all night, much to Ieiri-san's amusement—and his gaze is fixed on his still untouched sunset-colored mocktail. The thick layer of condensation on the glass makes Yuuta take a swig from his own beer, suddenly thirsty, which he regrets immediately because— "Would you fuck me if I asked you to?" —because Gojo-sensei says that. Alcohol burns his nose on its way out, because of course Yuuta isn't blessed enough to choke elegantly on his drink. He nearly hacks up a lung trying to clear his windpipe, and Gojo sighs like he's the one being inconvenienced. "It's a simple yes or no question, Yuuta." Uh. No, Yuuta thinks, it's absolutely not. He looks desperately around their table, hoping for someone—literally anyone—to save him. Unfortunately, Ieiri-san had left for the restroom not even a full minute ago, plus Ijichi-san had already gone home much earlier in the night, and while Yuuta still has no idea how he ended up regularly hanging out with this particular group of friends, he can't help wishing now that it were just a little bit larger. "I thought—" Yuuta's first attempt at words again rasps low in his throat, but he shoulders through. "I thought you liked Itadori-kun?" Somehow Gojo manages to look even more depressed at that. "Yuuji doesn't need me anymore," he wails, face-down into the table. Yuuta wouldn't be surprised if his eyebrows climbed off his own damn face.

Thoughts in iorita? (yuuta's son and Yuuji)

I can certainly understand the appeal of it (guy who looks just like yuuta (i.e., very handsome) abandoning his wife and kids to chase an absolute bombshell across the country), but it's not for me.

I think I'm just at a stage rn where the only people I am willing to ship with either of goyuu are those who would openly love and appreciate gojo and also not hurt him. which is actually a pretty short list of characters, and we don't really know enough about iori for him to qualify ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If okkoita was a hybrid, what would Yuuta be? I think Yuuji would probably still be a tiger right?

I've always pictured yuuta as some kind of dog. mostly because he's extremely loyal to the people he considers as his, and also like. he's domesticated. lol. he loves love and he loves intensely

(I grabbed some border collie images off google to give a sense of what I'm imagining—the kinda droopy black ears, white fur around the collar, intense stare.)

tiger yuuji is always a classic because it plays off his name. although specifically for okkoita, I might also propose wolf yuuji. and that's partially because I'm thinking about his fight vs mahito, but also wolf yuuji means he looks doglike, but he's... other. stronger, scarier, wilder. much like he is compared to normal humans.

so dog + wolf combo means they can relate to each other fairly well and also balance out their individual aggressiveness (or lack thereof sometimes, in yuuta's case)

Do you have any fic recs where gojo would literally burn down the world for yuuji? like he loves yuuji so much that he'd destroy the world just to keep him? Im in need of protection gojo who would obliterate anyone for harming his yuuji. Or something.

unfortunately, I tend to skip fics like what you've described, so I don't really have much for you rn. (nothing against those types of fics at all—I just personally prefer gojo controlling himself with much internal conflict)

the only one that comes to mind is learn to love your chains by J_c_nth, which I am rec'ing again and will continue to rec until the end of time.

but if you've already read that one recently, I'd try looking through the goyuu tag on ao3 with Protective Gojo Satoru included. you might also have some luck with Possessive Gojo Satoru, Yandere Gojo Satoru, or maybe Gojo Satoru is His Own Warning. (these links are all sorted by the default date updated, but you can of course change the sorting and filters to whatever you'd like.)
