Things I've learned from wearing more OTKs and such in public:

40something is really not that cold. Even for this southern lady. Though I have a history of this. As a kid, I'd routinely roll my pants up to my knees even in the middle of winter. It just follows that I'd spend my adult years wearing shorts and skirts with socks in the fall and winter!
