Hello! for all who do not know me, I'm a Christian woman who happens to love metal, hence the name. Black metal of pretty much any kind is by far my favorite, though I also have a huge thing for stoner/sludge, along with a bit of folk and a bit of death when I'm in the mood for it. I am an artist, primarily drawing and painting. I also love history, science, and the learning of all things. I love to read, especially classic literature and fantasy (LOTR and WoT, thus far), along with any non-fiction I can get my hands on. Outside of the above, you'll also run into a lot of sci-fi, as I am a huge Star Trek fan (TNG!) and a Star Wars fan too. Basically anything I like will go on this blog

It's official

I'm going to have to make a new tumblr I can't log into my desktop anymore because the email address connected to this account is officially gone forever, and I can't change my email on mobile (damn mobile app). So....I'll inform you all of my new account as I refollow everyone I love to follow on here! :D Ironically, this Saturday would be the 5th consecutive year I've had this single blog running. Having to start a new one is a bit bittersweet, but I'm kind of glad. The next one is a new start, fitting since its been 5 years running this one. In some ways, it feels like shedding an old skin. I'm NOT the same person who started this blog 5 years ago. Y'all who have followed me since that time (yes you're out there!!) have seen me morph and change a lot. But, I feel like I'm getting closer and closer to the essence of Amelia with each passing year. It feels as if my old blog was the first phase of my adult life. Now I'm moving into phase two. I'm pretty excited about phase two! Out with some old things, in with new things. And some old things never change. Thank you all for following me all this time and putting up with my bizarre ways!
