Thinking about when I talked to my partner about Lake Infinity Train and how they’re nonbinary coded and they go
“Very nonbinary thing to do to name yourself after the nearest object in nature.”
Which is true, but there’s more to it than that and I said as much when we talked about it.
A lake *is* reflective, but that’s not *all* it is. There is more to its identity as a lake than the fact it reflects. That is an aspect of its nature but not the only one.
So, for someone who has been told it is in their nature to reflect and that is all they are for, the lake is a symbol of being that *and more* and I think that’s really important.
This may have been obvious to you. It stuck out to me pretty early on. But also since my partner missed it, maybe it’s worth pointing out.
