KAGAMI HATES ARGUING, especially with Kasamatsu. Both of them have too much pride and are too embarrassed to apologize or try to reconcile first. This is because their ‘arguments’ are usually over small things that neither of them want to admit they got upset over. Kagami is washing dishes from their dinner earlier, which they ate in complete silence, at 2 in the morning since he couldn’t stand to feel like he was being suffocated any longer after eating. 

HE DIDN’T EXPECT KASAMATSU TO BE AWAKE but he was sitting on the couch, which wouldn’t take more than two long strides to get to, on his phone. He stops washing the dishes for a moment and turns off the water, letting the plate clatter into the metal sink. Kagami takes those two long strides to grab Kasamatsu’s face and kiss him. It’s a messy kiss and their teeth hit against each other but he doesn’t have the capacity in his mind to think about that and kissing his boyfriend at the same time. Kagami can practically imagine the look on Yukio’s face right now but it doesn’t matter anymore because he can feel him slowly relax against his touch. Their worries and their pride seem to dissolve at that very moment.
