Meeting people is probably one of the most stressful things in the world
even more so than playing fast card games (which everyone knows I hate)
But lets be real. Im awkward AF and usually offensive. I try to tone that down when first getting to know a person because you never know how someone will react, but it's always really hard to do when I am not thinking about it.
So it is no surprise that i have already been in situations where two seconds after saying something i am like "oh shit maybe i shouldnt have said that"
and obviously i say that part out loud, so now its definitely not awkward. Just kidding, it is.
Anyway, I was reading the Bologna Map for Young people (because i am a young people) and the second thing on there is
Our dialect and slang forms are pretty explicit, maybe too much, as someone may say
Which, hello?, is the story of my life. Best part of the whole thing? there is a word specifically used in Bologna that "literally means suck it and is used as an intensifier" (the word is socmel in case you want to start using it).
So maybe I will find some friends if only because they wont be as offended by my liberal use of the phrase suck it.
PS. I was going to google a picture of the hand signal that often accompanies my "suck it" but thought it would be better to avoid that situation...
