My Mariners On the Road.
5-4 on the road against some of the best teams in baseball. Some fucking great games; the slaughtering against Texas, the 12th inning win after a massive battle vs the White Sox, and finally this exciting win to take the rubber match against the Angels.
These young guys are finally starting to get going, and are absolutely tearing shit up. This is what Mariners fans everywhere have been waiting for. Hopefully this is the start of something beautiful, because this is the best baseball I've seen the Mariners play in a very long time. Not saying that they'll keep playing like this the rest of the season, but sure as hell a sign to be optimistic as fuck.
P.s. Oh and I'm pretty sure Ryan is beginning to cultivate some manliness on his face again. Hopefully that will help him get a fucking hit more than once even 20 AB's....
