With all that’s going on it’s challenging not to feel beaten down by life. In the days since my mom passed I’ve cleaned out closets, drawers, boxes, and places where the dust had woven a blanket. I’ve seen our family take root one photo at a time, from my parents’ childhoods to now, remembering so many moments. We had our difficult times, but beneath it was a lot of love.
