i want to repost my Soed song since i've been talking about Soed. i'm not sure how much it fits him anymore, considering he is no longer a sapient entity lol. the vibe for most of the song is supposed to be gradually approaching chaos, and then chaos, and then dying out, which still suits Soed's role as a character i guess
This designer was a mess right from the beginning. When Soed was still in training he was rebellious, abusive, and evil. Any amount of power his trainer gave him was immediately misused, and any mortal he was allowed near would die, or worse. His trainer, and in fact all designers that knew of his existence, believed him to be far too dangerous to complete the transformation into a designer, and for eons he was never allowed to finish his training. He was given the task of cleaning up stray glitches and throwing out old ideas for other designers, and rarely got to interact with anyone. Unbelievable rage bubbled inside him, and he never stopped prodding his trainer to give him the power he thought he deserved.
Sympathetic toward their only designer-in-training, Soed’s trainer eventually succumbed to his pleading. Soed promised, crossed his heart and hoped to die, he would chill out if he just got to evolve into a designer. Swear. No joke.
He was given his wish. His trainer was never heard from again.
While none of the other designers were comfortable with Soed’s new power, they still left him alone at first. Soed was happy to finally be able to make his own worlds to do with whatever he pleased. He only ever had one world, which he periodically filled with life and wiped it out over and over, resulting in a cluttered and heavily glitched mess. It did things to him. He was so connected to this world that the corruption carried over to him and gave him horrible, infectious powers. Eventually the world became so broken that it became unusable and Soed couldn’t do anything with it anymore. He could have made another one, but by this point he was bored of the routine and wanted to see what he could do to other designers. And THIS is where “Soed’s rampage” begins.
Soed let loose on the other designers for a span of centuries in which he caused as much destruction as he possibly could. In his frantic attacks Soed killed millions and millions of mortals, destroyed and glitched worlds beyond repair and harmed many many other designers. His overload of power spawned many pieces of himself wherever he passed by and it was basically just an extremely bad time for everyone involved. Except Soed. He really enjoyed himself.
At first, the other designers still held back and opted to just try and avoid him than try and confront or stop him in any way, the risk of incurring his wrath on themselves was not worth it, and designers lack the compassion to be heroes. But Cell and Soed never, ever liked each other. Cell was berating Soed from the moment he came to be, and Soed resented him for it especially. Cell was excellent at keeping Soed’s glitches and spawn out of his worlds, and after finally getting fed up with it Soed went for Cell himself. They violently clashed for a long time before Soed was able to plant a nasty glitch on Cell’s face giving him a permanent smile, and thaaat was the last straw.
Designers can’t kill other designers, but they can incapacitate them. Cell created a mini dimension in the VW world where he, after a lot of struggle, managed to capture Soed and lock him into to prevent any further destruction. Soed has free reign in this dimension, but has no contact with the outer world and cannot escape....Or can he?
Soed is incredibly egotistical and is BRIMMING with red hot hatred for everyone and everything. He holds grudges for eons and is a master of revenge and manipulation. Soed is radiating with toxicity and can infect or kill mortals just by being close to them, being able to infect even other designers with ease. He has no ulterior motives beyond the desire to destroy and is somewhat simple minded in that sense; he gets GREAT JOY from any amount of suffering no matter how small.
