My sexuality is Sandra Oh doing this while saying things like:
We carry this very large pain as Korean-Americans. Because we are not...one part of our identity is completely unseen by this culture. So I have worked really, really hard my entire career to put Asian faces and Korean faces...just visible. Because we don’t have that necessarily mirrored back to us in this culture, the American culture. And that has a really, really deep affect on your psyche. And how you then see yourself in your own society and what change you can do.
AND:
I want to say this in the most...in the widest way possible. I believe that there is a place of rest, a place of wholeness, that is bigger than ourselves. And whatever you need to do to try and have a relationship with that space, I encourage people to do because this here, the mind and even in the body is not all we are.
AND:
The gold is in the resistance.
