Trivia: anime is based on French movie "The Black Tulip" from 1964 (which is based on Alexandre Dumas' novel in name only)
Hey Himitsu - on that Super Hero Album back cover, who is the multicoloured team next to Bibyun and the red hero in the bottom-left with the big "R" on his belt buckle? They look awesome! Thanks :)
I was stumped on those myself but I would like to thank @toku_gami on Twitter for pointing me in the right direction for answers!
The team is ENBAN SENSŌ BANKID, a Toho tokusatsu series from 1976.
It was a co-production between Toho and Nippon Television that lasted a total of 26 episodes.
The second, with the lone hero is a 1978 series called UFO DAISENSŌ TATAKAE! RED TIGER.
This was a production by Soeisha and featured a hero who could switch between a white and red form and a red and white form for more power.
As a bonus, the series with the two people and the robot is MESSAGE FROM SPACE: GALAXY WARS.
This was a sequel to the Toei science fiction film Message From Space, which was released in 1978 and has been called a pretty shameless Star Wars knockoff. I recognized it from the Robot, who is also in the movie.
