"Good morning, students!"

Hiroto stood in front of the biggest desk in the classroom, looking positively cheerful. In his hands was a fat brown paper bag. From the way he was handling it, the paper bag contained something important- and heavy.

He placed the bag on the teachers' desk and grabbed a marker pen in his right hand.

"Today we'll learn about Quadratics. They're divided into expressions and equations. Quadratic expressions are expressions that doesn't add up to zero while Quadratic equations is an equality that involves quadratic expressions."

"When you multiply two linear quadratic expressions; you get a quadratic expression. And from that, we can factorise the equations to produce two linear expressions. Here, I'll write a few examples for you on the board."

He turned around, and wrote;

"A root of a quadratic equation is the value of the unknown that satisfies the equation. For example..."

"And that means, the roots are X = 1 and X =-2"

With a smile, he continued.

"That concludes class for today. I'm going to leave your assignments on the table, so grab one on your way out. Your deadline is 19th June, a week from now. I'll be expecting you to hand it in via ask by then."

"Feel free to come see me if you have any problems. Good luck!"
