" I-I hope I did well, Kira-san.... "

The day had been a busy one for the academy’s newest student. Or, one of them anyway. From the looks of it - the student body and staff migrated to the school in droves. To a girl from a town that housed probably twenty people at best, it was a little overwhelming. 

Or a lot.

With a heavy sigh, Bianca sank onto a nearby bench, legs stretching themselves out as she slouched downwards. She left home in hopes of finding a new life - one that was less inhibited and more unrestrained, but most of all a good distance away from her overbearing father. She desperately wanted to prove that she wasn’t as clueless as he believed her to be. Fingers idly toyed with the clasp of her satchel — barely noticing the approaching figure. 

It wasn’t until he fell that she actually looked up, an expression of surprise written on her features. 

“Are you alright? — You could still sit here if you like…” a hand gestured to the other side of the bench, straightening her own posture in the process.

A girl.

It was a girl.

Tachimukai had went and made a fool of himself in front of a person of the opposite sex. He didn't quite know how to react when he was next to girls, because the only ones he had met were either in the soccer team (meaning they blended really well with the guys) or the managers who, well, didn't pay that much attention to him.

" A-Ah, thank you. " he bowed awkwardly, before realizing he probably shouldn't have done that. Raising his left arm and foot at the same time, he marched to the bench before plopping himself next to the girl. Upon closer inspection, she was quite pretty. Never before had he seen such fair hair and he was quite at a loss of words. His ears were probably the same brilliant shade of scarlet his cheeks were. The boy's knuckles went white as he clutched his pants.

Suddenly, a wave of confidence just hit him.

' You can do this, Tachimukai. Just ride the waves, little man~ '

It wasn't quite clear why he was getting imaginary advice from his friend who was god-knows-where, but it boosted up his courage. The amber haired teenager straightened up his back and with a smile plastered on his face, he finally spoke.

" My name's new student and I'm a Tachimukai Yuuki here. "

Apparently, his self confidence had forgotten to tell him about order and syntax in a sentence.

The soft breeze ruffled Tachimukai's hair as the trailing edge of the Sun's disk disappeared below the horizon. Nightfall was actually his favourite part of the day because seeing two opposites collide into such a breathtaking scenery always left him dumbfounded. However, he had rarely seen it when he was still home. The only times when he was truly happy was when he traveled with his friends throughout the country, even though they weren't doing it for fun. After graduating and splitting up, he spent half of the summer stargazing and assigning a star to each of his teammates. The other half he had traveled all the way to Okinawa with his parents, where he had the pleasant surprise to see Tsunami again.

But the present was present and he soon realized he shouldn't have been outside at this hour without someone next to him. Sure, they were on a campsite but who knows what sorts of people were here !! His father had warned him about this and had sort of given Tsunami the bodyguard position. Alas, the older boy was nowhere in sight and the bench right there sure looked comfortable.

Dashing to it, he soon realized someone was already sitting on it. Dissappointed, the boy tried stopping in his tracks and turning back, but the slippery grass underneath his feet decided to make him stumble juuust enough, until he was completely down on his bottom.

" O-Ouch... " he mumbled as he was already getting back on his feet.. Brushing the dirt off his pants, he soon realized he had caught the other person's attention.

"S-Sorry, I didn't realize you were there so I sort of just... tried going back... "

Well that obviously didn't work out too well.
