Masishada sisuke sishadela loku. Ever since I saw the digital artwork #TheAfogbolos I have wanted to live this reality, that collection of art showed me an aspirational African influenced coupledom and I loved it. Breathing this rare air with the love of my life, standing in this sacred space with the man I chose, it’s way of being I saw and related to. I saw myself in that work. It opened me up to aspiring to a blackness I resonated with. That is why representation matters.
