Planet Craves For Love

14 year old Sofia hails from Kyiv, having released her first album at 9 years old, she comes to Malta with a huge amount of stage and performance experience. She's also competed at many music competition so we are expecting a calm and mature performance from her.

With one win and two second places in their back pocket, Ukraine naturally will be wanting a good placement, especially having won this year's Eurovision Song Contest in May and with Kyiv playing host next year. Will this be the song to give them an adult and junior win in the same year?

Well I think probably not, however this simple mid tempo ballad is pleasant enough. It's message is the kind we've come to expect at Junior and the pitching and writing of it suits Sofia voice very well. 

The staging will have a lot to play in this as there are a number of songs of a similar style, so it will require something creative to get it noticed, but all in it’s a lovely song and I am predicting a mid table placement for Ukraine
