Do I dare ask? ..Yes, yes I do.

Sofia is always bothering me, day and night.  Iann let’s go try this new coffee blend at the Black Tap.  Iann, find me a specific rare wand because the Genivisi coven won’t lend me theirs and they suck.  Iann, haggle on EBay for this glass bonsai bong.  Iann, try my cake I made it just for you it’s vanilla with chocolate chips.  Iann, brush my hair and put it in that nice fishtail braid, here use this hair tie.  Iann, unhook this stupid necklace from my neck it just scratches me and I hate it.  Iann, tell me my pedicure looks okay to walk around in open-toe sandals. Iann shut up that hot Swedish gargoyle flight attendant is totally not checking me out.  Iann read over my funding proposal on this dark potion I’m working on I want an Academy grant and this potion will be interesting to you too.  Iann, work with me on creating only the most awesome distilling and magi-chemical binding contraption like, ever.  

She acts like I totally hang outside her house all the time or something. I don’t know, she’s weird. Psh.

Is your muse up for the idea of switching roles?

He sure is, in whatever fashion that happens. Ephram isn’t overly invested in any one role in the bedroom. As long as everybody’s feeling good, he’s happy to oblige.

Has your muse ever called or considered calling up someone for a booty call?

ahahh Ephram has diligently performed booty call duties plenty of times. He’s more likely to go out and meet somebody new if he’s in the mood, rather than call somebody he already knows.

❄ - five thoughts my muse has recently had

‘Who the bloody hell brings a fawn into town?’

‘[She smells like] potions and sweetness and– home.’

‘The one good thing about physically not being able to leave town is that Elenora can’t actually be upset with me.’

‘He’s been writing for the full hour; how has his hand not fallen off yet?’

‘If one more student asks me if I’ve seen death on the field, I cannot be held responsible for any bodily harm that may or may not come to them.’

☯ - the three things my muse has most recently lied about

Juliet values honesty in others, but doesn’t always follow this rule herself. Her lies are usually meant to mislead, such as causing someone to think a certain way about her.

Not an outright lie, but hiding the truth about her capabilities/reaction speed - Juliet purposefully allowed the door to slam shut on her (she could have easily avoided it), thus spilling her tea on herself. 

“Having had too much to drink would at least excuse your behaviour.” - A conversation with Lia. She doesn’t actually believe anything excuses the behaviour of stealing her pastries.

“I suppose if it makes you uncomfortable,” - A conversation with Erastos. She says this even though she herself doesn’t believe it to be true; she’s fairly certain Erastos is fine the way he is.

The sensible thing, the polite thing, would have been to approach the professor at the Academy. After one of her classes or during her office hours or something. That would have been the right way to go about this ... if, that was, Ephram had consciously intended to go about it at all.

Instead, when he saw the potionmistress shopping at the botanica in town that he delivered to, Ephram found himself going over to her. Tapping her on the shoulder. Snatching his battered old Bonford Coal Company cap off and wringing it in his hands as he said, “Uh, hey, uh, Professor ... Floral. You don’t know me, I kinda take some classes at the Academy? Name’s Ephram Pettaline, ma’am, and I was wonderin’ if it wouldn’t be too much of your time to ask if I could maybe git you to tell me somethin’ bout how healin’ magic works?”

There couldn’t have been a more ham-fisted introduction, but there was no going back now.
