re: "soft!Louis" headcanon, this is another thing that has bothered me about Larries. You note that this headcanon/interpretation isn't exclusive to Larries, but I would suggest that since Larries are SO PREVALENT in fandom, and the content creators of Louis gifs/photosets in particular are often Larries, so even people who don't ship or tinhat are getting this content and seeing this interpretation and internalizing and spreading it around. Larrie impact goes far beyond ships in this fandom.
Yes, and this is the reason many 1D blogs are always lacking Louis, just because they don’t identify with the main Louis’ school. Moreover, gifsets/mood boards accounts are one of the ways in which people get sucked in by the Larriedom. That’s why my resolution to 2016 is not to reblog anything that comes from those blogs. Spreading their material, no matter how innocent it is, is opening a door for someone to be dragged in, and I won’t play an active part in it.
