I am a simple girl. I like simple romantic stuff. Dance with me in the middle of the night. Watch romantic movies with me, not only the overtly cheesy ones, but also stuff like Pride and Prejudice. Kiss me as we cuddle. Write poems or songs for me... Or sing them to me in my ear as we dance. Have tickle fights and pillow fights. Let us roleplay as our favorite characters. Drink wine as we share a single blanket on our balcony and star-gaze. It's really that simple. I am an old school romantic and I don't ask for much...

can i just... skip a few years of my life and move on to living in my urban 2 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend and a cat and come home from my work to find my kitty and my gf waiting for me for a soft netflix date with cheap wine and takeaway food and scented candles and fairy lights and snuggling on the couch with like 20 duvets and plushies and just falling asleep like that and then waking up to the sun shining in and then sharing soft kisses here and there while getting ready to go to work again......

can i just have that already.

Let's lie on our beds, with fairy lights reflecting off of our faces as we alternate between looking at each other and the ceiling, as we sing old Troye Sivan songs. I don't think there can be anything much more perfect than this.

The morning after

You toss on my white shirt as you go to the kitchen to make some pancakes, twirling to show off yourself. I laugh and follow you, making some coffee for myself and hot chocolate with extra sugar for you. We sip the other's drink, grimacing at the taste before passing them on to the other. I grab your waist from behind, my face pressing between your shoulder blades. You laugh at the expense of my height and my ego but turn around a press a kiss to my forehead. The pancake on the stove starts to burn and you quickly remove it off the pan. I smile before stepping up to the job and making the pancakes as you rest your chin on my head and hugging me from behind, calling me your knight in the shinning armour.... It was yet another normal day in our beautiful home but it was exciting nonetheless.... And it was all because of you.
