“okay, come on, you have got to be joking.” peter scoffs shaking his head. “no, i don’t believe it. you’re telling me you’ve never won a carnival game? you? these things are like, all math. you just need a little bit of calculated magic and bam! prize!” he’s laughing now. times like these, well, they’re some of the only times peter can feel like the teenager he is. being around gwen just made the weight sitting on his shoulder less...crushing. “okay, okay. i think this means i need to help you win one of those giant stuffed animals. so pick your poison. ring toss? milk jug throw? balloon popping? the ladder game?”
