Chiffon billowing, introspective floating I Still Care is fascinating French artist Saint DX’s third single. It explores the deep emotional recesses of romantic relationships, a pellucid trickling gem that’s also an homage to Sade’s soul. True to form, I Still Care is like a languorous blend of Rhye and Sade’s soft sensuality, with Porches’ misty meditation and a drizzle of Prince’s funk as well as a hint of Jungle’s luxuriant groove. The music video for I Still Care was conceived as a living photograph of an interior space, bringing back memories of time spent with friends, like a midsummer afternoon dream.
