New Release: The Freezer by Gezebelle Gaburgably

Favorite Songs: Pizza Rolls Royce, Magenta Placenta

The Freezer is Gezebelle’s first full length album in almost three years, and it was definitely worth the wait. The album title and many of the song titles are can be seen as references to her 2021 album The Fridge, and fans have referred to this album as a sort of sequel to that album. I love this album. Here, she delivers a unique blend of acoustic and electronic sound and doesn’t limit herself to a single musical style. The lyrical themes of this album are similar to some of her other recent work, and it’s amazing how she always finds new ways to express her feelings in her music. This might be one of her best albums yet.

So I’ve had this and similar questions a lot so I thought I’d make a playlist with 125 of my favourite songs ever so you can get to know my tastes. There’s a number of genres I like so these are the songs that I just simply cannot skip when they come on. I find myself most drawn to folk/folk pop, hip hop and indie/indietronica. Although every now and then I will have a three month long emo phase. I also seem to have a bit of a thing for the Swedish language.

As for the Alice mix! It was a combination of songs I knew off that made me think of her and stuff I think she’d listen to! My actual taste is fairly different.
