Gray x Reader — Secret Date Headcanons

Gray isn’t cold—he just has no idea how to show what he feels. But when it comes to you? You make him feel everything, all at once.

🕰️ 1. The Invitation

Gray isn't exactly great at showing emotions. It’s not that he doesn’t feel—he just doesn’t know how to express them. But when it comes to you, it’s like a storm inside him. He wants to be near you. Spend time with you. Maybe even go on a date. But how would he ask you? Well… he didn’t have to. You did. He accepted almost instantly—on one condition: No one must know.

🚉 2. The Meeting Spot

Time? 7 PM.

Place? A strange one for a date: an old, abandoned train station. It didn’t scream romance… but to Gray, it was private. Safe. Special.

When you arrived, he was already there. What you didn’t know was that he had been preparing the place all afternoon—waiting, adjusting, trying to make every detail perfect. But when he saw you, he panicked a little. He quickly hid his hands behind his back—poorly concealing a small, awkwardly held bouquet of flowers. He stared off into the distance, pretending not to notice how fast his heart was racing.

🌌 3. The Date

He guided you to a quiet corner of the station, where he’d set up a small picnic:

Two thermoses—one with tea, and the other with what he hoped was your favorite drink. If he got it right, he caught your smile. If he didn’t, well... he tried—and that made you smile anyway.

If anyone so much as walks by, he tenses. His shoulders straighten, his jaw locks, and he pulls his hat down low. Sometimes, he even teleports a few meters away—hiding behind a bench or post—then reappears quietly when the coast is clear. You know he’s not ashamed of being with you. He’s just scared of ruining something that feels too good to be real.

💬 5. Quiet Affection

You don’t talk much during the date—but you don’t need to. His actions say it all:

He hands you napkins before you even ask.

He pours your drink first.

He gently brushes your hair aside (only if you’re comfortable with that).

And when you laugh? He doesn’t join in loudly. He just lowers his gaze, smiles softly, and looks off like the bricks of the old station are suddenly the most fascinating thing in the world.

🌙 6. The Goodbye

As the night comes to an end, he quietly offers you his coat. He disappears just as gently as he arrived. But later, as you slide your hand into the coat pocket, you find a small note:

“Thank you for coming. Promise me this date stays our little secret... at least, for now.”
