ahh omg !! you're at school, walking to your car when you see someone leaning against it. at first it confuses you because you don't realize who it is but then you see the ring on his finger (just pretend he wears a ring) and recognize him instantly.
you're all like "oh my goodness, jack?!"
and he looks up from his phone with a huge smile, his arms already open as you run into them and hold him tight. he lifts you up for a couple moments before setting you back onto your feet but neither of you let go.
"i can't believe you're here," you tell him, a bit teary-eyed.
"i can't believe i'm here either. i missed you so much."
Hihi riri <3 I hope you are doing well! Okay, soft jack thoughts...okay so I feel like a lot of a time he feels like he has to put on a show of being the “cocky young one” for his team. Imagine him slowly showing you the real him. Like throughout a relationship, he shows that he's really not that confident or loud. In turn, he's actually a really shy and quirky guy.

i feel like he's a reallyyyy shy person. very fun but very shy. he just wants someone to love him not for his skills and who he is on the ice but for who he is as a person. and i guess because of all the assumptions about him he might be hesitant to show you who he really is, but he finally does and its the most adorable thing.
he could be a really clingy person and maybe he gets attached easily. when he loves he loves hard, and he does everything he can to show you he loves you.
he slowly tells you all the things he might be embarrassed about liking, like tv shows or activities. you have to reassure him that you think they're all really cool because maybe he's insecure about it.. maybe he just really likes watching spongebob.
and there are certain things he opens up about that are only for you to know and no one else. like showing you his intricate ways of picking an outfit for the day or how he always sprays his cologne four times for goodluck.
why four times? because he thinks it'll help him find a lucky four leaf clover.
its just him finally showing someone who he is for the first time.
I just knowwww jack hughes is so incredibly stubborn. like this man will not admit when he’s wrong especially when you both know he is

he proceeds to do so and take a sip trying to keep a straight face as you’re just laughing at his misery because that was, in fact, the salt.

soft thought! ok i feel like jack would be the kind of guy who like, if you had an interest in something he would try to get into it too? like, even if he didn't vibe with it, he'd want to be able to have a conversation with you about it and send you things he sees on road trips that remind him of you / your interests
okayokay, i love this !! i think so too, he'd definitely try his best to show you how much he cares about you and he'd think of it as a great way to bond. he'd spend a lot of time looking into it just so he could surprise you the next day and after seeing the smile on your face when he brings it up, he wouldn't go a day without talking about it.
dash is also making me sad (i also hate that people compare jack, luke, and quinn and am sad about it) so i present: painting jack, quinn, and luke’s nails before the NHL season starts for luck!! jack gets red (idk he gives me red vibes), quinn gets purple, and luke gets a pastel green- just having a fun moment with them before the start of the season<3

i feel like they'd all pretend to be kinda like "i dont really like this idea.." but you give them those adorable puppy dog eyes and they'd give in. it would be so cute, they'd be laughing at how focused you are but give you a hug when you're done because you tried so hard to make them look pretty :))
soft jack thoughts!! (my brain never quits babie i apologize) but kissing jack’s temple and slow dancing with him in the kitchen after a good game (like today). additionally, showering his face with kisses when he comes out of the locker room!! telling him how proud you are<3

no bc imagining jack coming home and putting on spongebob is hilarious to me, like endearing, but hilarious. the concept of comfort for him being squidward? iconic. incredible. revolutionary.

ugh ri the money i would pay to baby them!! just little kisses to their forehead!! they totally deserve spa days on their days off- as they’re probs always training, etc- (off topic but on topic but have you ever seen the human in tiktok who gives their bf a facial?? does the whole thing? it’s precious- if you haven’t i’ll def send link) but that<- scenario with bee and jack- also giving them a bath!! i’m such a softie, ugh. using the little crystal roller things on their face!! and going back to their post fight injuries, replacing the bandaids and cleaning their cuts every night before bed 🥺 maybe using different bandaids each time- strawberry, plum, orange, etc<3 ugh i’m so sorry i’m in my feels<3 (and thank you btw<3)

ahh omg 🥺 helping him in the bath, maybe giving him a little massage as he sits in front of you with his back against your chest. dont even get me started on the skincare routine. you'd make sure to wash his face, put on his moisturizer and use the roller to help him relax before cleaning his wounds and changing his bandaids :(
