it was a normal friday night in hawkins, billy just got off his shift at the pool and i got out from my job at the mall. every friday after work billy and I go out and do something, this friday we both decided to have a jam session at billys house since we were so beat from the long day and the hawkins summer heat. " hey billy" i say hopping into his blue camero smiling at him. " hey sweetheart" he says to me leaning in kissing me softly. " so wanna pick up something to eat before we go to your place?" I ask putting my seatbelt on," i heard they opened a new burger joint in town and i was thinking we could check it out" i look at him waiting patiently for him to answer.
" sure doll face but you brought your new song with you right? i don't want a repeat of last week" he says laughing slightly. " i brought it don't worry...i think you'll really like it." i say remembering what happened just last week. every weekend billy and i bring a song that we think the other will like to whoever's house we pick that week, it's mainly billy's' since he has the bigger song collection, and we play it for each other. it started off before we started dating and it's been something we have done ever since.
"oh really... what does the beautiful y/n have in store for me" he says placing his hand on my thigh." it's a surprise but i just really hope you haven't heard it." i say placing my hand on his hand rubbing it slightly with my thumb.
we finally make it to billy's place and the moment we make it to his room i just fall onto his bed. i hear him chuckle as he places the takeout on his desk. "someones tired i see" he says " i am, i swear i was dealing with the most annoying customers today" i say rolling over watching him separate my food and his" tell me about it, today some kid tried to bring food in the pool and when i told him no he started crying" i laugh at him and he looks at me telling me over and over 'it's true'. " to be fare you can be pretty intimidating or scary" he looks at me with a fake offended look and i can't help but burst out laughing.
billy hands me my burger and fries and takes a seat next to me on his bed. "wait before you sit down put on some music pleaseee" he shakes his head and starts walking over to his music player. "but don't show me the new song yet i want to wait till after" i add and he tells me" i wasn't planning on putting it on yet" as he walks back and sits in front of me. it was always the best part of my week and something i always looked forward too. i loved the simple nights of eating takeout, listening to music, and just enjoying the presence that is billy.
small conversation started up until we both finished eating. i walk over and throw all the trash away and billy starts getting his song ready to show me." so i wonder what hargrove has in store for me" i say smiling at him and take a seat next to him"oh you'll love it sweetheart and thats a promise" he says to me and i laugh" bold of you. well whats the song called?" i ask as i wait for him to tell me." well this weeks song is called still loving you by the scorpions" he says to me as he walks over and turns the song on" ooo you haven't played a song from the scorpions in awhile" i say to him. we lay on the bed with our legs dangling off the side. " man you know i'm a sucker for guitar intros " i say as the beginning plays.

i close my eyes and enjoy the music softly playing in the background. in these moments i just enjoy being in the company of billy. i move my hand and place it on top of his, rubbing it softly with my fingers. " it's really good so far billy" i say as i enjoy the music.

the guitar solo starts and hear as the pre-cores begins to play and i start moving my feet to the sound of the music. i notice that as soon as the pre-cores finishes he starts singing me the whole cores of the song.

billys sings to me and i can't help but smile at how genuinely happy he looks. he leans in towards me and we kiss softly. i hear the songs guitar solo begin again. as two verses play the cores starts playing again and i see billy singing and i get up from laying down and watch him get up, still singing the song, and play the air guitar.

he grabs my arm lifting me up and into his arms. i place my arms around his neck and he finds a place on my hips and i look into his beautiful blue eyes. he leans in and starts kissing me hungrily. the guitar solo playing in the background as our lips move in sync. i move my hand to his cheek and slowly pull back. " it's a really good song billy, i actually really liked it" i say as the song finishes.
" but now it's my turn to play a song for you" i say as i get out of his grasp. searching through my bag i pull out the song and take out billys from the player." now it's a few years old but i still hope you haven't heard it" i say as i press play and he looks at me" well who is it by?" he asks and i reply " blondie. now no more questions i wanna play the song!" he gives me the thumbs up to start playing call me by blondie.

" now lets finish what we started" he says kissing me and i feel a sense of euphoria. " also i've heard the song before you just looked too cute singing it" he says smirking down at me.
