Almost Letting Go

He puts in just enough effort to keep me around right as I am about to let go, so much that it feels like he doesn’t care too much for me, and mindlessly keeps me just within reach as per his convenience.
Our conversations haven’t progressed much further either and I don’t think I have the patience to wait longer. It feels just the same as it was three months ago. He isn’t dying to meet me, or if he is, he doesn’t really show or tell me that. Frankly, I am a thought away from giving up and moving on, but since I had told myself I would wait till the 6 Aug, and if we hadn’t gone out by then, and even if we did and if there weren’t any sparks or any kisses, I would be on my meri way to the fishing pool.
My friend’s boyfriend keeps wanting to see her everyday. He calls and texts her throughout the day as well. Wish I had something similar
Note to him: Come on, boy, pull through! Make me feel like you want me, because right now, it doesn’t show! T-T
