Seeing the Poe expert and lover extraordinaire (you) say that Hard Landings is one of the best characterized Poe fics on this sight truly made me so giddy and excited and crazy happy I'm so glad you like that fic 💕💕💕

seeing this in my inbox made my brain go "!!!!!!" and do a lil dance 🤗 It really does though, I tried to keep track of every little thing that made me excitedly go "oooo!!!" but there were honestly so many I stopped being able to keep count? You perfectly captured Poe's heart and spirit, and dug into a lot of his traits & aspects of his characters that I don't really see a lot of in fics, and you do it in such a beautifully earnest way that makes it read even more like Poe and I love it so much.

One thing I really liked - I am rambling now - is of course the way you balance out his serious moments and his energetic cheerfulness in a way that feels so, so true to the movies — but I especially loved how he...runs away to start with, how he's afraid of what he sees in the reader's eyes. It makes me think a bit of Oscar mentioning (I have not had the fortune of watching it myself but I've seen quotes) in the tros documentary that one of his favorite scenes to film in tros is the rooftop scene because we rarely see Poe be vulnerable [nym note: esp when it comes to being afraid].

I just!!! have a whole lot of love for that fic, it's really near and dear to my heart (as is a lot of your moon knight fics, I would go to battle for your Marc, much like I would canon Marc).
