Getting into messes and fights, ending up wounded most days, was so typical of the Couffaine siblings, especially her. Still, she hoped that other dude, whatever he looks like, would not come back for a rematch, out of anger or well, shift into an akumatized victim after losing, she supposed.
But enough bad thoughts, Juleka merely focused on the request. No words left her yet, the goth went ahead to take out an icepack from the refrigerator. Then, it was handed over to Luka.
‘‘You wanna tell me how it started?’’. A quick glance was sent, in direction of the shop’s window, in case of customers getting inside the chocolates store. But none right now, so, amber hues were aimed back towards her brother, awaiting an explanation.

~*..// “I’m.... a super hero?” Marinette looked herself over, concern and confusion in her gaze. There was no way she was a super hero. Little ol’ Marinette? The shy, quiet bakers daughter who had little to no self confience and was easily the biggest klutz of Collège Françoise Dupont? There had to be some mistake, an accident of some sort. She tugged the suit a little, not sure if she was comfortable with how tight it was.
At least it wasn’t revealing like some female super heroes suits were. That would be embarrassing.
“What was it the little bug said?” Mari paused as she ran a hand through her bangs to try and calm down. “There is a villain who is possibly on the loose and I have to be ready to take it down? How the heck am I going to do that?” She unlatched her yo-yo from her hip before tossing it, falling back the second it ricocheted of her bed and back into her forehead. This was going to be a disaster. A disaster!
‘You might as well try to get used to it. Go run around, but try not to be spotted. Learn how to use your yo-yo and new skills. That way you’re prepared in case he strikes.’ The voice echoed lightly in Marinette’s thoughts, causing the poor girl to panic once more. She was so glad her parents weren’t home. Hesitently, she crawled onto her bed and up to her balcony before glancing around. She gave the yo-yo a few test throws before she threw it to a nearby building. “Huh...” She gave a light tug, and was clearly not prepared to be yanked across to the rooftop as she screamed.
After she landed, she had to cover her heart with her hand, the beating inside felt like it was driving her crazy. “O-okay.. I can do this...”
‘You can do this.’ Tikki’s voice echoed again.
Marinette gave another small nod before she took off again, bouncing from roof to roof. Blissfully unaware she was about to have a partner who had also received his Kwami, who was also urged to go try out his new abilities.
