I'm biting the bullet and trying to finally improve on backgrounds lol. Sofy and mango (Lewis) having a date on the beach. Dancing is kind of a thing they do sometimes since that's what they were doing when they started to fall in love when they were younger. My lil beans..

This is my OC Sofy, which my friend asked me to draw when I gave him the option to decide which character to draw for his birthday. He chose my character, Sofy, because he was most curious about how I envision her.

I struggled greatly with this drawing, mainly because I couldn't figure out how to draw Sofy's outfit and how she would be. Luckily, I got help with that from a very dear person to me, but because I redid this drawing more than a few times, it took much longer to draw and color than it normally would. At one point, I was sure I wouldn't be able to make this drawing for my friend's birthday! But I did, which I'm extremely happy about. Not to mention the ending result satisfies me. I hope you all will also like this drawing!

Also, as a side note...I chose for a reason to draw wisteria flowers this time around, instead of roses or some other flowers I'm more used to drawing. The simple reason is the symbolic meaning of wisteria flowers. After all, it suits extremely well to Sofy, who is a witch and who has a deep love toward a certain character...
