Spring is finally here, and our local michi-no-eki (rest stop) is not only filled with lots of great vegetables, but also a wonderful selection of spring flowers.

My teacher's certificate has arrived from Tokyo!

For every ikebana artist teachers' certificate is the most significant achievement. It wipes away four (!) previous student's certificates and makes you concentrate on the race to get the highest reward - Riji diploma.

Now I am able to teach my own students (students, where are you!) and issue certificates for them once I register with the UK based Sogetsu branch. I even have a personalised wood engraved stamp for stamping my future student's lessons tracking: Stamp! Stamp! Stamp!
