🧸 Treasure Hunting in Tokyo 🧸
Walking into a local Japanese toy shop is like stepping into a time capsule of pure childhood joy. 🏮✨ Imagine narrow aisles overflowing from floor to ceiling with vintage vinyl figures, rare trading cards, and nostalgic gashapon treasures. It’s a maximalist dream where every corner holds a piece of history—from classic 90s anime merch to quirky indie collectibles. There is something so incredibly cozy about the organized chaos of these shops; it’s a physical manifestation of a "core memory" in every shelf. Whether you’re a serious collector or just looking for that one specific piece of your childhood, this is the ultimate destination for the kid at heart. 🎌👾🍭
Reblog if you could spend hours getting lost in here! 🏹 Follow for more hidden gems, Tokyo city aesthetics, and nostalgia trips. 🕊️🎐
無心 (mu-shin) “no-mind” or “nothingness mind”
An important concept in meditation and martial arts.
If you have mu-shin, your mind is free from thoughts, desires and assumptions.
As the Buddhist nun Reverend Jiyu-Kennett once said: “It’s nothing... but it’s the fullest kind of nothing there ever was!”
When your mind is clear, and you are free from ego and can act naturally and spontaneously.

Kamikaze or Tokkō (short for Tokubetsu Kōgekitai, "Special Attack Units") was Japan's organized campaign of deliberate suicide attacks during the final phase of the Second World War (1939–1945). Emerging amid Japan's deteriorating strategic position in 1944, the program reflected severe shortages of trained pilots, fuel, and modern aircraft, as well as the growing inability of the Imperial Japanese armed forces to contest Allied naval and air superiority. The first officially organized Tokkō operations were initiated under Vice Admiral Takijirō Ōnishi (1881–1945) during the Battle of Leyte Gulf (October 1944), where expendable aircraft were deliberately crashed into Allied warships in an effort to inflict disproportionate losses and delay the Allied advance toward the Japanese home islands.
