I wish you the best. thank you for sharing your story, it is so inspiring for me to read. you are amazing, and I hope you continue to pursue life with confidence and pride in who you are, because I know the person you are deserves recognition. thank you for sharing your story to us, some of us really need to read that post more than we show. - i wish you pride, power, and opportunity in your years, and that you overcome whatever discrimination people throw at you, because you are so much more than labels people call you. keep on shining, keep on being you in a world so cold that will try to freeze you into conforming to this twisted society. - - - don't. don't back down, don't listen to downers, don't listen to doubters, don't listen to any single person on this earth that misconstrues your identity based on personal prejudice. - i am proud of you for coming out to us, and i admire your courage. i can understand how hard it can be, feeling so different and out of place in a world that wants uniformity. i'm writing you this much because i want you to know that i believe in you, and that i believe you can make a difference. i am on your side, i am with you and for you. please talk to me if you ever want to. i can relate to the pain and confusion you may be feeling, and i hope you know it's normal and to please accept - yourself because that's what matters. have a beautiful weekend, it's friday, enjoy a little You time. :) all the best, Scarlette
Thank you so much for sending me such an amazing and empowering comment. Ever since I opened up myself on tumblr, I’ve received tons of motivating comments, which made me feel so loved and confident. However, along with those comments came some negativity. I’ve been ignoring the haters so far and tried only to think that I have so many people supporting me, but they continue to send me mean messages and I really want to show the haters out there that I have beautiful supporters like you, and their hate does not discourage me from being myself. Thank you Scarlette, Messages like these give me the courage and the drive to continue being myself when it feels like it is impossible to overcome the standards and prejudice. Like I took the first step, I will continue taking small but meaningful steps forward, and when I get there, I promise you I’ll live happily and courageously and make you proud.
