Thanos has arrived in style, and his Black Order have retaken the Time Stone from Stephen Strange, leaving Thanos with three out of six of the stones - Space, Time and Reality.
With these in place, he is hunting for the power and mind stones, held by Mantis and Daredevil respectively.
In the meantime, Tony Stark has sent out messages on communicators asking everyone to assemble by the ruined Colosseum, and others like Steve Rogers and Peter Quill have been trying to round up everyone. It’s time to start the counterattack.

We will be starting the final showdown next weekend, and will likely be kicking this off with a Discord Event or two. We are running a poll on the best times for everyone - the link is available in the Discord OOC (announcements channel) - please head over to fill that up as soon as you can.
For this week, there are the following plots that are up for grabs - unless otherwise mentioned, you don’t need admin approval to start any of these, just go ahead with them (but do let us know what’s going on so that we can keep track of what’s happening in the Stone):
Showdowns with each of Thanos’ Black Order - each of these need to be disabled (though if they are killed, they will return thanks to the Soul Stone’s dynamics).
Thanos is still trying to recruit or turn people to his side. If you would like be one of those joining the Mad Titan, just let us know (and you can go ahead and start fights with other players - just make sure that this is all discussed beforehand and agreed upon between players).
Tony is searching for the mind and power stones, and each of the stones (including the soul stone) are starting to react to the others’ presence. Things may be getting a little unstable around here.
IC plotting - a big part of the Thanos showdown is going to be driven by whatever ideas characters come up with IC to take Thanos down. Have a clever way to overcome the power of the stones and get rid of the Gauntlet? Let the characters know! Do note that Thanos is effectively invulnerable to all ‘normal’ weaponry, so just slicing his arm off isn’t going to work. However, powers may be able to work directly on the Gauntlet. However, Thanos is able to literally warp reality, and can likely counter most attacks.
As always, old threads can continue, but we encourage you to start wrapping up existing plots!
We’ve received certain messages regarding whether or not we accept original characters, so the best way to answer them all is to redirect them into this post. In our guidelines, we have stated in the very beginning ─ you can find that we generally accept any Marvel characters. However, please note that as far as possible, we are following the cinematic and TV versions ( which includes the X-Men films ) as well as comic versions. If you’re not sure whether a particular character will be accepted, please do contact us. Unfortunately, we don’t accept original characters. It’s been out of the question, and if your answers still aren’t found in the guidelines or faq sections, please contact us.

We’ve been considering the direction of the group in light of Endgame coming out soon. As you guys know, we’ve been around since just after Infinity War was released and our plot is heavily tied to the events of IW.
We’ve come a very long way since then, and it’s been a very exciting ride, but our plot has also become a little hard to follow, and it’s likely to be difficult to work the events of endgame into it. Because of this, we are hard at work plotting and planning an update and reboot of this group as a post-endgame RP.
We plan to incorporate ways to allow characters to retain the development many of them have made here while allowing for changes that you may want to make. For instance, we are hoping to keep some of the connections and maybe memories from events here (entirely up to players of course)!
Everyone is welcome to continue to interact while we work on these changes but we will not be enforcing activity during this time. We do ask that everyone desiring to keep or drop characters, message us with that information by Friday, April 19th or we will assume that you no longer wish to keep the character. So long as you have messaged us, you will not need to reapply. We are aiming for the reboot to take place around two weeks after the release of Endgame to avoid spoiling the movie.

first we’d like to state that activity checks aren’t fun, no one likes to do them, and no one likes to be on them - however, since we are moving into a brand spanking new event that’s shaking the foundations of the plot, we’d love to see things rolling - which is why we are actively encouraging posts to be shorter as they tend to keep the ball rolling.
Secondly, although we require three (3) posts a week to keep activity, please do note that this is a minimum and we definitely encourage you to have more than that. We’d like to encourage everyone to aim for five (5) posts if possible! This will help with activity as well as keeping things fun and exciting-!
Now, onto the more logistical side of things; since we’ve noticed a few patterns, we’ve decided to implement a three strike warning system on activity checks, if you find yourself on them every week, and only come online to post during the checks, you will be given a total of three warnings, once the third one is up, you will be unfollowed and the role will be reopened. Of course, if you’re struggling and need extensions or a hiatus, you can always come to us and talk with us about it.
