Grr, stupid rain...
keeps eroding the loose soils on my hill...
Turns out soil is, on average, annually depleted 18 times faster than it’s being naturally built up
Kinda makes me think of the balance between nature and us, y’know, and it is also kinda scary to me
Looking at my soil study guide for an environmental science competition thing,
And I feel like I’m non yokai watch who’s listening someone list all the different combat mechanics in the Yokai watch series
Me, a Yo-kai watch fan: “Soultimate, purification, ability, tribe, element, jinxes, charms, synergies, stats, Def/Health importance chart, 3x3 grid, cancelations, equipment, revival, food, that one dude who revives yokai for you…”
Random guy who wasn’t ready for this: DDDDD:
Also, it’s apparently like a 4 hour drive to go there
So I have a club dedicated to environment things, and there’s this field trip where we take a test about the environment,
So I get to major in soil, and minor in current events, just for a single test competition, but still cool,
There’s so much I have to study though, I feel like a wine connoisseur,
“ah yes, this soil is clearly a damp sample from a swampy wetland forest based on the color, texture and thickness”
I just found out that I’ma have to go into a soil pit and color match soil to find out what type it is,
But yay! Field trip!
