Call me emotional, but when we visited the Air and Space Museum, I saw a quote on one of the information plaques that read,

"I'm coming back in...and it's the saddest moment of my life." -Ed White, answering mission controller Christopher Kraft, June 3rd, 1965

Ed White was the first American to walk in space. I longed so strongly as a kid and young adult to go into astronomy somehow, but between funding and not wanting to have to have such a high degree in math, I abandoned that path, but I still have such a strong love for the stars and space and learning all I can about it.

Anyways yeah, I read his quote and almost started crying in the middle of the museum. ✌️

Hit the 50k word mark. Got new art in the works. I am zooming now that I hit the next big milestone. And I'm also reading more now than I have since before Mageling was born. I'm loving having friends who are into the same books I am and they're giving me amazing recommendations on books I'm enjoying, but I'm also ecstatic that my own writing isn't reflecting these popular books either.

So, I rarely use it, but I was in such a flow state writing this morning that I just wanted placeholder names for some side characters and I opened up the fantasy name generator. Clicked the refreshing list several times and stopped. Saw Estelar on it. Thought huh, that's weird.

The very next refresh had Nuvian on the list.

Never saw Rienmar, but consider me kerfuffled. 😂

G doesn't read much for entertainment, so I avoid talking to him in big depth about my stories unless I need a brainstorming session to help with something but yet tonight after watching Freiren (because he loves how Fern is like a sniper mage), he caught me monologing and asked lots of questions and helped come up with some ideas for me.

But getting a non-reader's approval of this caliber has inflated my ego like a male bird doing a mating dance. He now knows so many big plot points and why things connect together and just ahhhhhh
