i can’t get over the infinite sadness that is in my soul upon realizing that Sol Soria saved Rick Flag on that beach and he went on to die in this mission to help save her people, cinematic poetry

i wonder if the team told her what Flag did? i wonder if she knew what he died for and how he was willing to defy his government to do so?

we see her in this scene happy at the liberation of her country, but i wonder if she already knew then what happened to Flag? how did she react? did she get to have a moment to mourn him? did her people go find his body in the rubble and give him a burial?

she saved him and he saved her people
