Is there anything special Lance does to help Arthur relax after a particularly stressful day of governing?

Cuddling. And a lot of it.

Taking off his armour to hold him better. Resting Arthur's head against his chest (usually lying down, since Arthur is the taller one). Gently massaging his shoulders and back.

Sometimes he requests that Arthur sings or hums to him. If Arthur is calm enough to sing, it always helps cheer him up. Also he just has a nice voice and Lancelot loves to hear it.

Kissing, too. Lancelot is a good distraction from many of life's troubles.

Sometimes Lancelot has words of encouragement to spare, but it's usually lot of physical affection to help soothe Arthur's stress and anxiety.

I’ve been thinking about the God AU a lot lately and wanted to look at the various ideas for it again, but unfortunately your post with all of the corresponding characters and gods seems to have vanished! I tried searching everything from “God AU” to “Hermes” to even “Metamy” because I remember that was mentioned once, but....it’s just gone. Do you happen to know where it might be?

(By the way, if you’re ever feeling in the mood to talk about that au, I have so many ideas that I’d love to share)

Huh, that's odd... Or not very odd. Tumblr loves hiding everything from me to the point that I've had to enter my archives to find posts before. Luckily for you, I've been occasionally discussing things about the God AU and I have some new stuff to share if you want it!

How bad is Arthur’s hydrophobia? I know it was said in ToA that he can’t swim, but is it a moderate fear or is it a “running away from bathtubs at high speed” kind of fear? (Also: how does Lance react to said hydrophobia?)

He’s definitely not afraid of approaching water, or being in manageable amounts of water (a tub is fine, though he prefers cleaning with a damp washcloth, given that it’s quicker and easier). He’s comfortable around Misty Lake, given that he knows that Nimue will not let him come to harm in her home.

But he won’t take a dip in a river or anything like that. Avalon is landlocked, so I’d imagine that the ocean would make him nervous if he ever went that far out of his home. He’s definitely nervous on boats and needs reassurance whenever he’s on one (though that’s partially due to feeling trapped as well).

And Lancelot does whatever he can to remind Arthur that he’s there to protect him, and if that means loudly challenging the ocean to a duel just to make him laugh, then he’ll do it.

Oof... Hmm... Well if I had to pick one pairing to rule them all, it's Yubel/Judai/Johan from Yu-Gi-Oh GX. But I don't think I have much to write about them? Like enjoying a pairing vs. enjoying writing a pairing are two different things entirely... I'll be honest, I don't know at this point. But I am having a lot of fun with Arthurlot for the time being!

Usually? Exactly once. Just a read through for proofreading and also tone/flow editing. Sometimes I'll remember a section I wanted to add and I'll add it. Usually the things you read from me, be it here or on AO3, are the first draft with a final once-over.

But I can't read something of mine too many times otherwise I will end up resenting most things about it and never post it.
