NOMAI!!! I am indeed drawing and thinking a lot about Heartians, but i'd love to be a Nomai. I have always had a little soft spot for them...

Marimba without a doubt!! I used to do percussions as a little kid and loved to play it

I have no idea how you would take that to a different planet because it's massive tho, and all the other travelers have instruments that are easly transportable so uh. If we are going for something more managable like that it'd probably be a handpan!

So! My brother bought the game a few years back, intrigued by the premise. I started watching a bit of his playthrough and i got so enthralled by it that i eventually started to play too! .... At the cost of his own save file lol. I was very young at the time and didn't know better 😭

My brother never ended up finishing OW because of that, but he is getting through the game now! And it's been very fun to watch him. I love laughing my ass off with him at the many ways in which he can give Slate a heart attack (aka crashing the ship <3)

I also adore "14.3 billion years", and LOOOVEEE how "End Times" builds into "Sun Station". Truely it's like a little foreshadowing even in the music,,

Sun Station - Favourite mystery/curiosity to solve?

Oughh i loved doing the Quantum Moon!! So many pieces to gather before actually getting into what it hides. Like you'd think that after getting to the Quantum Tower in Giant's Deep you have essentially solved the puzzle but NO. MORE MYSTERIES FOR YOU 🫵

TOO MANY ACTUALLY

Ever since i played the game in 2020, "Travelers" has been a constant through all these years despite me not having touched this game again until very recently!! I hold this one very close to my heart...

But! Recently i've also enjoyed "The Museum", "The Sound Of Water" (CRIES.) and "Elegy For The Rings"!! I find myself humming the latter a lot lol

Sometimes you experiment with art and find out that wrow drawing is actually fun

Sometime last year i was like "what if i made an AU" and i was having fun with it until today i sat down and realized to had to write the much dreaded google doc for it

Nobody told me that getting Sif and the family to max level would have made me feel even more miserable than the actual thought of being stuck in a time loop

What i really like about "I WON'T LET YOU GO HOME" as a music piece is that it sounds basically like a confrontation.

The song opens with this small beat repeating over and over, building itself up almost like a question. A plead.

"what is wrong? What is wrong? What is wrong?"

And then the drums come in and go absolutely INSANE. Quite litteraly it's the explosion of every emotion you've held in during the journey- They are erratic, they stutter, they completely fall apart in certain moments and seem to be almost disconnected from the main body of the song

Still the main melody persists. It tries to bring some order, tries to be louder than the drums themelves... And it seems to work. Near the end the drums and the melody enter in some sort synchronicity, before ending it off with a somber piano piece.

Everything has calmed down, and you slowly realize the harm you've done in the outburst. The fact that you've done this to the people who are the closest to you is an excruciating thought.

And yet, the next song right after this one, "Tell Us Tell Us Tell Us", is a continuiation of the piano from before.

A breather. A gentle reassurance.

Things will be ok.

You just have to accept it won't be the same as before.
