What to expect?
• I also reblog political stuff, other's art i like, critical posts and sometimes things i find funny
• I'm mostly a fanart blog, and my posting is very inconsistent. So expect long periods of radio silence alternated with periods of strong activity from me.

In this blog, bigotry of any kind is not accepted. I support queer rights, poc rights, feminism, disabled people, Palestine, Congo, Sudan and all the oppressed.
So if you are looking for someone to argue with, you will be ignored and blocked.
We are not free until all of us are free.
Alright! This is all!!
Thank you for making it this far, and i hope you enjoy what you see here!!
Anyway this disability pride month I would like to shoutout disabled folks whose creativity has suffered because of their condition. I’m talking people with hand tremors and pain that stop them from drawing, knitting, and playing instruments. People whose thinking has become so disorganized that nothing they write makes sense to other people. People with chronic pain who can no longer dance. People so over medicated in a fruitless attempt to maintain stability that the wells of their imagination have run dry.
I see you and I love you. You are more than your creative output. You are not a shell of what you used to be. You are a whole, complete person, regardless of what your creativity has been, is now, or will be in the future.
The fact that Kelsey Beachum (OW lead writer) said in an interview that "we kinda kept forgetting about Esker during development" and that's the whole reason why everybody forgets about them in canon too has been haunting me ever since i heard it. So obviously i had to make a few doodles of them
Having a brain is exhausting. Yes i'll make you come up with some pretty neat stuff, but you will have the same THING repeating over and over again in your skull until you either 1) forget overnight this thing even existed to begin with or 2) we move onto something else
So many people are joining this ask game I came to with! Welcome! ::D
I think I'd like to ask the Chert question.
- @ink-ssw
Hi hello!! Thank you for making the ask game!! <3
Chert - What's something that surprised you about the story or world when you discovered it?
Recently i was on my way to the High Energy Lab because i needed references for a comic i'm slowly chipping at and well. You know that hole that you have to wait to fill up with sand to proceed? I was waiting it in when i found these??? Fish fossils?????
There's several scattered all over the hole.
I'll put a cut because i went a little overboard with this lol
I know this is probably just a little detail the devs added for fun... but if we REALLY wanna look into it they kind of imply that Ember Twin might have had marine life at some point. Considering the inside of Ember Twin seems to be significantly colder and, therefore, much more habitable than the outside (all the Nomai inscriptions that lead to the Sunless City seem to suggest so), it might not be a far fetched idea to think that this planet used to harbour life in some way!
We also know of the existance of the Anglerfish fossil on there.
Could this be a progenitor of the fearsome Hatchling-Ender? Or were they just some random fishes minding their business? If we suppose the first hypothesis to be right, how did the Anglerfish even GET to Dark Bramble in the first place? And how did they evolve in such a way that makes them able to breathe and prosper in what essentially is still void?
Also, much more simply, how did they die? Definitely not because of Ghost Matter because water nullifies its effects, so it must have happened either way before or way after the Interloper... It could have definitely just been the sand streams that oscillate between the Twins though. We have no idea with which frequency they happen, so it is possible they didn't happen for a long time which gave the opportunity for life to develop! Until the next streams.
I do think the "well it's just some fish" option is the most likely but you never know!
This to me is all very reminiscent of the change of axis of our Earth and the African Humid Period!
To boil it down VEERY much: we know our planet rotates on its axis, but the angle at which said axis is now was not the same through all of Earth's life. This is called "Polar Motion". In a process that takes a lot of years, the axis shifts ever so slightly its angulation but the consequences for the climate are immense! The Sahara was a more hospitable place years and years ago. We know this from the analysis of the topography of the desert where riverbeds and lakes were found (with water comes life!!), and the remains left by the Kiffian and Tenerian peoples who inhabited the much more prosperous Sahara. With another shift of the axis, and consequent change of the climate, these peoples eventually met their end and the flora and fauna died over time
If you draw some parallels (the sand streams being the shift of axis, and the fishes being the flora and fauna of the Sahara that happened because of the shift) you can see why i brought this up ::D
So yeah this was very surprising to me! So many questions from just one little big guy encased in stone!!
Ask games have been fun so far, and I kind of felt like making one. This time, it's character names. I don't mind if you want to just use the question sentences, the rest of each prompt is just context to help with answering the questions.
Chert: What's something that surprised you about the story or world when you discovered it? Whether it's something you didn't know about, or something that majorly affected your theories, or even just something you didn't expect that you found funny.
Esker: I can't really think of anything for Esker, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind a conversation. Free yap spot. This ask is repeatable because it's fun to yap and Esker deserves the company.
Slate: This ask has two options. What's a funny way your ship messed up, or what would you say was your favorite ship maneuver you've managed?
Riebeck: Was there a moment that you found particularly intimidating or scary during your playthrough? Whether it was intended to be scary or not.
Gabbro: What would you consider to be the most relaxing place in the game? Criteria for "relaxing" is up to your interpretation.
Feldspar: How reckless were you during your first playthrough? How Feldspar-y were you?
Solanum: Is there a point where you felt like you were stuck, or a point where you believed that you could have handled a particular obstacle if you just had enough information? It's okay if you were wrong.
Prisoner: I can't think of anything for the prisoner, so this is a funny spot. Share a time when a glitch or some weird timing gave you a laugh during your time playing.
Hatchling: I've seen one asking what got you to play, and one asking about the ending, so let's go in the middle. At what point did you go from just trying the game to feeling genuinely invested? What kept you "looping" back to the game?
You can reblog to show interest, and I hope whoever sees this and participates has fun with it.
i HATE hate doing this but i'm just. a bit desperate! sniles. today at 6am my cat nyx randomly started hyperventilating and drooling and overall had a sudden change of attitude towards us and our other animals. we had to drive her to an hospital urgently and she got hospitalized and needs treatment. the bills go up to 450€ (and counting!) and my parents and i don't have that much money to spare
please. i hate to do this but if you are interested in my art and/or overall creative work please consider c0mmissioning. if you just want to donate then they are more than welcome (and i'll be forever grateful) and if you cannot do either of those then sharing is still appreciated! if i don't have a c0mmission type in my kofi and you want to c0mm something specific from me then feel free to dm me.
