“Come onnn” Nebula grumbled as she dialed again. “Come on pick it up already…” she paced in her room, accidentally knocking over one of her plants with her tail. “Shit..” she said as she put her phone away, and started to put back the dirt into the pot, essentially repotting the plant. Well that sucked. Her friend Toasty couldn’t pick up the phone, and now one of her plants is in a critical state. Darn it. Maybe she did need To go out a bit. Fine. She was going to get one of those little isopods for Toasty.. she pulled out her phone again and dialed her twin, Sol. Sol picked up that phone after a few rings. “Moshi Moshi..? Ah hey Nebu, what’s up?” Nebula smiled. It’s even a while since she heard her twin’s voice. “nothing nothing.. I just saw the other day, you had this garden..? The Isopod Garden.? Am I right?” She said, waiting for a response. “aah yes. I do have that. Wanna come over and check it out? I have some isopods right now.” Nebula sighed and smiled. “im gonna go over..” she said as she was already going to her car.

In half an hour Nebula was pressing on Sol’s doorbell. “im coming I’m coming alright? No need to press it for so long..” Sol said laughing as he opened the front door letting Nebula in. “im going to show them all to you, and just for you, since you’re my twin, can take one for free.” Nebula nodded, before her eyes went wide. The isopods crawling around the smaller part of the adoption garden, where one could choose, were gorgeous. And kind of big. Nebula didn’t know what she was expecting, but she liked the cat sized isopods. One of them was smaller, probably another subspecies, based on how much her brother loved these creatures, he’d get multiple kinds. “you like them..?” Sol asked as he leaned his elbow on Nebula’s shoulder (she was so much shorter than him.). “yeah. And I want that one.” Nebula said, as she pointed at the one which had a rosy color, and a dark back. “oh yeah. Elvard? He’s a really pretty one.” Sol said, with a hint of smug professionalism in his voice. “ill take him.” Nebula said. Sol looked at her and he could immediately tell. “he’s for a friend no..?” Nebula was surprised how well her twin knew her. She nodded. “alright” Sol chuckled. “hes all yours. Or actually the friend’s who you’re getting him for.” He said, as he stepped to the isopod, picking him up into his arms like a cat. “you really mean it?” Nebula asked, as Sol put the rolled up isopod in her arms. “yes. Now go, and bring him to your friend. He’s pretty friendly, so don’t worry.” “Thanks, Sol”

I was hoping to go with getting two, one based off the trans flag, and the other based off the bisexual flag

the trans one would be petal-like with the flower outgrowth mutation and the bi one would be regular with the changing patterns mutation!

I hope that's good and this was a good idea!

Soo we have 3 types so far

• regular

• spiky

• petal like

• the tiny ones

And I also came up with some mutations!

First the ones y'all already knew :

• many eyed

• changing pattern

And ones that y'all dont know yet! I don't have pic or them yet, you guys can ask about them when we are consulting about the little guy/little guys)

• gummy

• glowing patterns

• flower outgrowth

And now about the whole thing!

I was thinking about solos, duos and trios!

The idea of making couple isopods felt like a good pride event for me.

I will be making one group (from 1, up to 3 isopods) per person. I would make these isopods based on pride flags. (I take up to 2 flags per isopod, and I might not use all the colors, but they will have their antennae a gradient in the flag colors.)

On mutations and types the rules are the following:

• in the option where you take one isopod you have to choose a type, and a primary and a secondary mutation.

• in the option of two isopods, you can do the mutations in a way that one-one, two-zero, and a two - and one secondary.

• and on the trio, just ask me about what you'd like cuz I can't decide on that right now y'all I'm sorry TT

the way of adopting!

I will post the design as an answer to your ask! (Or send it in dm, depending on how you reached out to me)

Then, you must send another ask with art of your isopod/isopods.

• an art featuring your isopod/isopods individually (full color)

• a doodle of them meeting your chosen oc/character/sona OR drawing them snuggled up to each other.

If you want to, you can also write!

• a story of your chosen oc/character/sona meeting/finding the isopod/isopods OR (only available in couple isopods) write a story of the isopods meeting (no dialogue required, but you can also write dialogue, I would love to read how they meet)

• both around 650 or more words (it's because it's a special event)

the group isopods are couples :3

Actually the cooldown would be skip 1 batch, but yeah, these last two have been here for soo long, that she can go with you, so do not worry.

Ran is a little sensitive, and emotional, but at least you will know a bit better when she is feeling sad, because of her flowers!
