Possessed (AU Drabble/ Open RP)
Kara was on the run again. Solaraze had managed to make it back from the other universe--one that Kara hadn't even realized she'd been led to--and was now chasing after Kara once again. She was constantly getting closer this time, however, and Kara was beginning to burn out her portkey. It would need a serious rest and recharge before she'd be able to use it again--without hurting herself, at least. As she turned a corner to rest and catch her breath, she flinched--her breath nearly ceasing--when she saw Solaraze standing there, waiting for her.
"You really should try to make yourself less predictable, darling." Solaraze sneered before grabbing Kara by the neck and slamming her against the corner that she had just tried to turn. This left her disoriented--everything becoming a blur. Solaraze snickered at her, sensing that she was having problems now. "How pathetic; one hit and your down like this? It's such a waste to kill you, and after all this time~" Solaraze began to rear her arm back for a quick, deadly blow, but stopped when she realized something. "Wait..ah!~ Yes, I know!~ How about instead of wasting things by killing you, I simply do something worse? Now..." She mused as she pressed two fingers to her own temples. "..What's that word that you all say to bring that beautiful mark forward..? Why don't you tell me, darling?" And with that, she forced her way into Kara's mind, quickly making alters to get Kara to say it.
"...P-..p..prokeni.." Kara murmured, eyes wide with fear and disbelief. No, this wasn't happening; this couldn't be happening! And yet it was, for the black mark betrayed her by showing itself, as clearly as it could for Solaraze.
"Yes..now that's a good girl~" Solaraze snickered as she pressed her fingers against the mark. "Prokeni." she hissed, forcing her way into Kara's mind again. Kara let out a screech at this, her mark burning as though it were on fire.
"S-stop....please stop!!" Kara cried, tears welling in her eyes. After a moment, though, the tears faded, as did the light in her eyes. Solaraze smirked before letting her go, and Kara fell to the ground, her eyes blank. Although she appeared to be passed out, she was very much awake--only her mind was no longer the same. What would happen next would be all up to her captor--or, if she were lucky, her rescuer.
