According to ye olde interwebs, there’s no uncut version of Solarbabies ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, and NONE of the physical media copies for sale include deleted scenes.

So unless I find someone with connections to the project or a site where cut scenes were leaked, I will probably never see what may have been the love scene. The sequence of that still of Jami Gertz and Jason Patric together in the water, swimming. (Pic below)

BUT I decided to watch the deleted Lost Boys scenes again. Forgot how much LONGER the extended love scene is. They looked so amazing together. Kinda scratched that itch.

There was an Instagram fan account that I guess would post a lot of Jami Gertz reels, that I came across one night. I could DM him if I track him down again. But meh.

At least we have The Lost Boys. Always.

Maybe a lifelong ambition along with that widescreen copy of Desert Saints… 😂 Goals are good though, I suppose?

I still kinda wish there were more deleted Lost Boys scenes available, too, because they didn’t release everything. Alas.

In other news, my internet is out (this message brought to you via cell phone). The estimated time for service to be restored keeps getting pushed back. 7PM, 11PM, 2AM.

So I won’t be adding to any fics tonight. I’d meant to. Hopefully, soon. Taking a break and watching the movie.
