I'm conflicted about chapter 4 of the Evolution AU because on one hand, the celestials have finally evolved enough to have drama, but on the other their drama is now taking up the whole plot. I've barely passed the Triassic and I'm over 5k 😭

I thought ancient animals would get prettier during the Triassic, since we're getting into the dino era.

I was wrong.

I am so tempted to make one of Earth's forms be this little guy in the next chapter of the Evolution AU.

I've had to go through EotB ch2's WIP multiple times to fix pronouns because now I'm habitually using it/its pronouns for Earth instead of the they/them they've evolved to. I'm going mad here.

This and the next paragraph took an hour to write due to the research I needed to do, so I'm sharing some of it now to reward myself lol

Evolution AU is 3.5k words and we're barely touching the Ordovician period, I'm starting to think this might be a 3-4 shot instead of a oneshot like I originally planned. For the sake of the end notes at least, that's already shaping to be a beast ;-;
