Hi!!! Do you have any fic recommendations in the Solarballs fandom? 👀
Hehe oh I most certainly do- but a note, these are my preferences. There are so many more talented authors out there, and if you have different tastes then me then I definitely recomend looking on ao3 ^^
I tend to avoid romance for example unless its one of the three things I ship, so my list is mostly platonic love😅
Reading guide! Under the cut I've listed each author I'm mentioning and what they write<3
First and foremost, my dearest @number1jewel writes the ANGSTIEST fics ever ohmygoodness sobs.
Like these have broken me and then glued me together again with the fluff because THEY ARE SO FLUFFY WHEN THEY ADD COMFORT OIDHA- my all time favorite fic of theirs atm is It feels like we're flying (but maybe we're dying) where Uranus gets hit by a car- BUT ALSO HEAR ME OUT THE COMFORT IS SO GOODDDDD
Next up on the list we have our beloved @azmau who's recently started writing SolarBalls, and ohmygoodness their writing is both so adorable and so heartbreaking as well. Their Makemake fic killed me sobs
After we have our amazing @sun-splotches or @asteriskoops (same person) whose fluff has healed me after getting MURDERED by those two /affectionate I had first discovered their Earth and Luna fics, but then they also wrote one for Sunny and Neptune and Earth and PLATONIC LOVE FOR THE WIN WHOOOOO
Then we have the incredible @dreamie-artsss who I at first did not realize wrote some of the fics I was reading over and over again oopsies qwq one of said fics is a Jupiturn one but just today they actually posted SUCH A FLUFFY FIC WITH JUPITER JUST GIVING OUT HUGS AND SOSGKAGSJ
For the funniest moon fics ever we go to our hilarious @toonjazzy who wrote Moons just wanna have fun! But also some hilarious crackfics that make me giggle everytime skdgsk
This one is by an anonymous author so unfortunately I can't tag them, but this Earth and Luna fic called The Bottom of the Barel is dumped out (eventually...) was so good and so soft ohmygoodness I hadn't realized how badly I needed Earth and Luna comfort
Then of course there is the react fics and Down to Earth! By the talented SilverPeahen (I forgot their Tumblr name sobs) but right now their new fic Footsteps is playing on loop in my mind. (Their fics have been living in my head ever since I discovered them....)
I don't know if this wonderful writer has Tumblr so I can't tag them, but of course ChaoticAce2005! They analyze characters so well and write hurt/comfort so good.....
The amazing YellowCry writes a ton of moon fics too, they're so soft and I love them- especially the ones with the Galilean moons + Jupiter zigakav
If you like Neptune then I would say look at the amazing J4Kris, home of the seas and a glinstening Pearl are so sogsosgksbs ohmygoodnessss the fluff has killed me too

I’ve read Solarballs fluff fics where the planets use hot chocolate mix or cake mix or just it other half-ready stuff, but you know what I wanna see?
Making something from scratch. Hot chocolate with cocoa, milk powder and starch, cakes and cookies with eggs and flour and vanilla…
That would just be so much cooler to read!
