Mercury was terrified of the dark and got left behind. He did the panic signal at the camera and got taken out by the crew. No one noticed his absence.
Venus refused to go. He thought getting scared on purpose was stupid.
Earth was the one who prepared everything and eho now feels really guilty.
Mars gets pushed in front of the group on everything. He ends up getting hurt because of this.
Jupiter tries to act brave but keeps panicking and blanking whej failing to solve the puzzles.
Saturn refused to go. He had a spa day with Venus instead.
Uranus had a panic attack when one of the actors did a jumpscare.
Neptune was having the time of his life, slowly growing miserable because Jupiter wouldn't let him solve the puzzles. They were math puzzles. He knew the answers. But Jupiter snapped at him due to panic, causing Neptune to refuse to help.
When Jupiter saw Sun again, a memory from a long long time ago surfaced:
Sun was looking back at him, vision blurred by tears. All he could really see was Jupiter surrounded by darkness as his eyes filled with tears too.
The star rushed to comfort his planet, wrapping his gravity around him as tight as he dared and reassuring him as his light tinted him in a golden hue, keeping the darkness away.

Summary: cute little multi-part story I decided to write
Note 1: If you go through the Solarballs tag on my blog, you can see my Mercury design, but essentially he has a blend of cheetah and hawk features.
This chapter is just Sun comforting baby Mercury when his head wings were growing in!
!!!this takes place in the early Solar System!!!
The Sun was sitting in his orbit like he always did, silent and watching for any intruders. He had been so happy with all of the rocky planets that had formed recently! But that also meant that he was even more aware and alert than usual. He didn't want anything to harm them, he couldn't lose anymore—
A soft crying sound.
Immediately, the Sun looked around. He frantically searched for the source of the noise and the harm that could have caused it. Neptune was unharmed, Uranus was unharmed, and so was every planet up until...
Little Mercury. His little Hermes, and his youngest planet...
The little planet was curled up on his side, distressed chirps and cries escaping his tiny form. The Sun shrunk down to a less intimidating size and knelt down next to Mercury. He scooped him up into his arms, as gentle as ever.
"Hey, hey...what is it, my little one?" The Sun whispered, gently shushing and rocking his crying baby.
"Hurts..." whimpered a tiny voice, and the source of the tiny voice seemed to be scratching at the sides of his head.
"Where, baby?"
"H-h-head *hic* hurts..." Mercury suddenly flinched and began crying more when the Sun's hand approached his ear. "No! It hurts— no touch!!"
"Shhhh...I know, little one...I won't hurt you. I want to see what is hurting you so that I can help you. Hold still..."
The Sun brushed the small planet's hair away from the side of his head. He couldn't find any cuts, though the area was inflamed and red from Mercury's frantic rubbing and scratching. The Sun would really have to consider getting some hand coverings for those tiny claws... nevermind...What the Sun did see however, was what looked like small sprouting appendages on either side of Mercury's head. They almost looked like...
"Oh my baby... you're growing your head wings!! Ohh they're so cute and pretty already!" The Sun tried not to squeal at the excited—though teary-eyed— look in Mercury's big eyes.
"Really??"
"Yes! Don't worry, it is natural for them to hurt and itch a little coming in. I remember when Jupiter was little and he grew his head wings. He was much fussier than you are, though."
"He was?" Mercury giggled, finding the idea of Jupiter being fussy over the same thing quite amusing. "How fussy??"
"Well...it got to the point where I made hole-less sleeves for him so that he couldn't scratch himself as much. He opted for trying to bump his head on asteroids. When that didn't work, he just collapsed in my lap, all huffy and pouty. He even bit me a few times!"
That drew more giggles from the tiny planet. Good, it distracted him from the pain and itchiness. The Sun could remember when he had been growing his horns in. Stars, it was bad...only he didn't have a star to turn to and cry to— no, no not now. Reflect and mourn that lost opportunity later. For now...
"Saturn was also quite fussy when his bull horns grew in. Much more vocal about it, too. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to handle the headbutting from him once I gave him the same sleeves as Jupiter."
"Hehehe- I can imagine that more than Jups...Saturn is still a drama king now, hehe!" Mercury couldn't seem to stop the giggles now, finding the stories of the other planets sharing his experiences rather hysterical.
The Sun smiled fondly before leaning down to kiss all over his baby's face, ending off with one last kiss to his little forehead. Eventually, Mercury got sleepy and curled up in the Sun's lap. Stars above, the Sun got nap trapped...Oh well. He wasn't upset about it, he couldn't bring himself to be. His thumb brushed over the small growing appendages on Mercury's head, lightly massaging the inflamed area. Mercury gave a sigh of relief and purred in his sleep, making sure that it took every muscle and braincell in the Sun's body to not squeal with joy...

Note 2: Yes Jupiter was a biter and Saturn headbutts.
Another sneak peak (?) kind of. I might have to scrap this section because it may be too light hearted compared to the rest of it but I still really like it so here
What are the thoughts you ever have thought about Titan (from solarballs)? Tell me what you think about him pretty please
ah titan, been a while since I've fully thought about his character honestly
I think the way the show handled his character was a bit messy during the moon revolution arc, am currently a bit exhausted plus my memory needs a bit of a rewatch of the moon revolution arc to fully dive into my issues with the writing
besides that stuff
his backstory, relationship with saturn, his role in the moon revolution, his relationship with luna (I ship them honestly), and his american southen accent really pulls me into his character and personality in the show
his backstory of him being saturns favorite and all the other moons of saturn hating him for being the golden child really does peak my interest, saturns special attention to titan causes this big issue in titans relationship with other moons to be either very unpleasant or non-existent, titan does not seem to hate saturn for being the reason many others have shut him out but its more then likely he deeply resents the ringed planet for being the main thing that has kept titans relationships with other moons to be like that
being called 'middle earth' is certainly a crazy title given to such a moon
I like titan a lot and I think he is an interesting character to sink my teeth in whenever I feel like it
I ship titan with luna as they have similarity's and to me seem to find a lot of connection with their shared experiences of being isolated (in their own situations ofc)
luna is isolated from other moons as they have to stay with earth often to keep him on his axis, regulate the oceans, and overall be there for the earth to keep him and the earthlings safe from asteroids
lunas job is so important not just for himself and his big brother but also the many many many many earthlings that count on him, the sun wanting lifeforms to spread all over the universe, and just a lot of people counting on him to do his job, even if he is treated unfairly or rudely
I ship luna and titan heavily if you cant tell, I even have an au thats story has a lot of focus on the two, as their relationship when put into a romantic lens is incredibly interesting, cute, and tragic to me
