i want gentleness for trinity. the world is so harsh and loud around her i want something soft and kind and gentle. and that’s parker to me. she checks trinity without ridiculing her, sees through the tough bravado and straight to trinity as she is. flawed, trying, angry, desperate to lay her facade down in front of someone, trying to save the world. i see it taking a while for trinity to stop pushing away from tenderness, and parker takes it when she lashes out but doesn’t let her mind run away with itself. parker talks things out aloud, doesn’t let anger hang, apologizes, tells trinity how she feels — hurt, frustrated, sad. parker’s a great teacher, and trinity wishes she’d believe in herself more and sees what a miracle she is, despite everything the world throws at her.
